gocchin
I summarized some of the test data from Golf Gear and posted it up over at Inpakuto.com. Gives a general idea of how each new X-Drive performs and may help you decide which model you want. 2007 X-Drive Characteristics
FairwayFred
That is interesting. I wonder how much stock should be put into this test. I am looking for a fade machine and have a 430P on order but from this report I should change over to the 460P. However I think we really need to remember that the shaft difference likely made most of the difference in ballflight between these 2 clubs. Ari, it could very well be the shaft as all of the clubs using the stock XD shaft either went straight or had a draw. I've got a much more detailed report on all the models but I won't get around to translating it till tomorrow so please check back later this weekend. acrazygolfer
T, It appears the numbers are off regarding the 460P (18888RPM and 43RPM). ACG

+TourSpecGolfer
It was also imo the face progression, face angle, and internal weight bias as well. The proto tour ad shaft looks pretty neutral in specs besides the fact that its an X :tsg_smilie_wah:
acrazygolfer
This is not good since I sworn to not buy a new driver for '07. LOL!
gocchin
I just noticed that Tourstage pro Katsumasa Miyamoto is hitting a new 2007 X-Drive 410P Prototype.... I'm reading that many of the pros want a fade machine and Miyamoto who's previous driver was an X-Drive 365 prefers the smaller head driver which is why he's hitting the 410P. He previously had started out with the 410 but is now with the 410P... wonder if it will go retail?
+TourSpecGolfer
I doubt it or they would be advertising a 410P first. the smaller heads are the hardest to sell. after the complete line up is available i doubt they will be releasing the 410P. More new toys or just interim waiting for the new X-Drive? :tsg_smilie_cool: I guess you finally shafted the 6060L. Anyway I have just ordered the NGS Mach Line 5350 Proto but no deserving head to put it on yet. :tsg_smilie_wink: I went to the driving range this morning to try out (a buddy's) a XXIO driver, 3W, 4W U6 and forged irons all with MP400 in R flex. They are all very easy to hit and the stock MP400 felt better than the MP300 of last year. R
Blader-X
The 460P seems to be the optimal for my swing characteristics. I like the very low spin. Problem is, I'm very happy with the Epon to even think about changing now. I will however, be giving those new X-blades along with the 13.5 3-wood a look. I must say, the more I look at the '07 lineup for TourStage the more I'm impressed. These clubs really fit my eye.
