+TourSpecGolfer
I was experimenting with corel draw and decided to try somthing different. its my first attempt at this sort of thing. The decal size is a little off and i will adjust them to the perfect size soon, Im able to print these out for customers if they are interested in just about any finish, carbon, metal carbon, brushed silver, and all colors under the sun. They dont come off they stay tight even in wet weather. Just somthing i thought i would share to add some flare to the sorta plain looking R7 forged. Next step is satin finish and black paint fill. vandercharks
That's a great look for the R7 forged. Can't wait to see satin finish for those.
K2_2
Hi Chris, That looks very well done, and you may have struck a happy medium between the standard R7 forged (which I like) the cast R7 TP (which I find to be somewhat less attractive). +TourSpecGolfer
Can the you make up ones to fit the r7tp cast model ? Could a person order these and install them himself? Thanks gb Yes but its takes very long, its hard to do properly, and its tricky to install. It Would take me about 1 hour per club to get all of the shapes to fit perfect. After the original is done hundreds can be made with ease. thadeuce
Hey TSG, how many different designs can you do? Are the carbonfiber looking ones confined to black/grey only or could you make a carbon look with purple? Just curious what the limitations are... MCsub
This is a bit off-topic, but since there are a few other watchnuts here, I wanted to add the following pictures. The case of this new watch is actually made of "forged carbon", a complete first for a watch case material. It is said to be extremely light and very durable. This specific piece was made for the Swiss boat racing team "Alinghi" (of which Audemars Piguet is a chief sponsor). Alinghi is the Defender of the 2007 America's Cup which is being currently held in Valencia, Spain. One country will emerge as the winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup and become the Challenger for July's final. Anyways, hope you enjoy.
