WJK
Just a thought for Chris...although im sure someone has already brought this up.... No doubt there are a number of great import clubs available as evidenced by the many posts here...but as well all are aware they do require a fairly sizable money commitment... Has TSG ever considered having demos for rent similar to other pro-line golf shops...obviously the rental price would be much higher to account for shipping to different destinations and logistically it would require work to track...and return shipping to TSG once finished would need to be worked out but I bet a lot of people would be willing to pay a bit to try out one the latest forged models before sinking a chunk of cash to buy these wonderfully crafted irons... I gather this may have been discussed before however... Not sure what others might feel or if its even feasible at the moment... Wes

Or are you talking just a 6 iron or somthing?
small2iv
i think this is a cool idea, but there are way too many details to be work out i know we have to pay for shipping both ways... from japan?!! how much for a set of demo irons? drivers and even putters? i am more interested in trying out drivers and putters if possible and if the prize is right... count me in please
WJK
I agree... the pricing and logistics to and from Japan would be more difficult than typical for other retail stores...I even forgot about insurance for possible damage... I know at say Nevada Bobs they let you demo one iron from a set usually...a 5, 6 or 7 iron...I would gather that one iron may be enough to just an ideal of the feel...but im sure its not a great substitute for trying out a whole set or more...but I bet even a single iron demo would be helpful for some...at least make it easier to pull the trigger and purchase... It was just a passing thought Chris...i think regardless of demo or not many of us HOs would still sink in the "kitchen sink" for that perfect set of forged import irons or new driver!!! ranghips
I agree, even though I am impulsive by nature and have bought Miura CB 1006's without demo'ing them, I would be willing to pay any reasonable cost ( shipping, insurance, demo fee - refundable on purchase?), for the opportunity to try something before buying! If you could arrange something on these lines, Chris, I am sure that you would see a return on your investment. Nick
