idrive
This weeks bag June 24, 2012 Had these irons for about 4 years now. Been treating them more like collectors than players clubs. Planned on playing them 1 round but after 4 rounds I still can't get myself to take them out. Just amazing -- Raw -- Grind by Shinagawa's check back soon as the bag will change Edited June 25, 2012 by idrive

idrive
So your the guy who has the Satin Maru's!1 of a kind ya lucky guy! I know! It makes it hard to play with them knowing they are a one of a kind set. They are fantastic for feel and consistancy. Full shots just eat the Golf ball. Spinning a ball off the Green is no problem. But new wedges are on the way.. right Chris??? The Satin Maru's will most likely just make photo appearences from now on. The are still in Excellent condition. Blader-X
They are the 06 model.. but I'm expecting the new 07 model to ship to me any day now. I've had them ordered for about 3 weeks. Please if you could post pics and let us know how they compare once you've had a chance to put them in play. I'm very interested in these as well but just not able to pull the trigger on them yet. I'm very curious how the toplines compare between the two. Many thanks.

Blader-X
Very nice idrive. How do those Epon wedges compare with your old TourStage X-wedges?
idrive
Very nice idrive. How do those Epon wedges compare with your old TourStage X-wedges? Much more "manageable." Seem to have a bit more spin control with the different swing speeds, especially the full shots. A full shot with the Maru's and the ball.. what was left of it, would spin off the green if it wasn't made of cement. Perfect the US Open coming up. Now all I have to do is qualify!!! gosoojj
You changed X-blade to Epon CB? What was the main reason that you swithc from MB to CB? Since I'm looking to change whole set, I want to know if Epon CB is better than X-blade for you. I always want to hit with blade but maybe I can hit scatch with CB (my weakest is iron shot). Let me know if you can share your thoughts Much more "manageable." idrive
You changed X-blade to Epon CB? What was the main reason that you swithc from MB to CB? Let me know if you can share your thoughts I got tired of slightly toey shots not landing on the Green. I'm also swinging a little slower, more tempo oriented. The CB's have maintained and even added a bit of distance. My slightly toey shot landed on the green today.

Blader-X
Thanks for the updated pics. Those are some beautiful pics of some very beautiful sticks. Some of those clubs look awfully familiar. Ummm, I wonder why? Oh yea, have some of those in my bag!!
Mjr. D
Good call on the iron covers! I use them on all my irons. I like looking at them in the flesh best, but it's not worth the dents and nicks. I actually just bought some see through iron covers, they help ease the pain.
Mjr. D
Did Epon thin out the "Epon" on the toe of their driver? It might just be the picture but your driver's "Epon" looks thicker than mine. I don't care, i'm just curious.
