+TourSpecGolfer
Below are a couple of custom mizuno sets that just arrived, the MP-32 has more of a killed trailing edge when I compare it to the retail version. Now if only my running bird logo 67's and R wedges would come in

ClubHoUno
Great looking irons, Chris What is the name of the finish on the Mp33 ? Is it possible to order Mizuno's new irons without the Runbird logo when you make a custom order ? I know the Mp-60 and Mp-32 does not have the runbird, but when new models arrive next year, they probably all will have this new stupid runbird logo on the sole - I hate logo's on the sole of clubs. Have nothing against the runbird logo itself, but I positively hate the placement of it on Mizuno's irons and wedges
+TourSpecGolfer
whats the waiting time on a set like this now chris? It has always been 4-6 weeks. What is the name of the finish on the Mp33 ?Is it possible to order Mizuno's new irons without the Runbird logo when you make a custom order ? I will have to double check if they can remove the bird from the sole.
xxio
Can the running bird removed from the sole and put elsewhere?
+TourSpecGolfer
Can the running bird removed from the sole and put elsewhere? The Run bird can be placed the same way the M stamp can. On the MP-R wedges and MP-67's you are not able to remove them from the sole. More pics... ProSpec
Does the flat black wear as quickly as the high gloss black? Basically, how durable is the flat black finish? It looks great. Thnx.

ranghips
I absolutely love the look of the MP33's in the flat black finish, but if my experience is anything to go by, they would look very shabby after only a few weeks play in wet English winter conditions. I have had several wedges in the flat black ( my Miura WMF's are in flat black), and my experience is that they lose the finish and rust quite easily if used a lot in wet conditions. This is not a problem with wedges, as the rust definately helps promote extra bite off the clubface and gives extra backspin on the greens, but I would not want my irons to look as rusty as my wedges!
