gus
I'm interest in any feedback regarding these shafts and combos. How do they stack up to the other super highends and what shafts would compare to them closely. I have my eye on the 6WA (abreviated) I believe but any comments are appreciated. Thanks
+TourSpecGolfer
Awesome shaft guys, I have an Epon 460 at D3 44.75" dead square that arrived a couple of days ago with the W6BA R flex tipped a half inch, thing is a cannon but I need to mess with tipping it and the other shaft models before i claim this champ over Axiv and Tour AD. Nothing kicks like the Axiv, and Nothing goes as straight and long as my Quattro Tech. I have yet to try it on the course, its pouring rain out. Nothing beats the graphics on this shaft, you can have it White or you can have it Red. More to come, to many shafts, heads, and clubs to hit and the show is just around the turn! gocchin
It's part of the Six Shaft Shootout at Inpakuto here: http://www.inpakuto.com/content/view/143/81/ It did very well against all the top shafts. It has a unique carbon weave pattern , minimizes vibrations and twisting for maximum energy transfer. And it's double sided color is very cool looking.... They are getting very popular in Japan and getting more tour presence which is usually a sign of good performance (^_^).
gus
I'm eager to learn more; early signs indicate that this shaft line is a winner!
acrazygolfer
Amazing results. I like the bend profile of the Avix and Roddio. It appears the PT-6 and the Riddio have similar bend profile but the tester was able to achieve better distance with the Riddio (by 12.5 yards) due to the 3* higher launch angle and better back spin rate. It's interesting that the PT-6 launched at the lower angle and yet its backspin was over 1000 rpm more. The Roddio indeeds one @$ kicking shaft for this tester. I'd most likely need to tip the Roddio between 1/4 to 1/2 inch to get good results, just by looking at the data. Why the bend profile of all the Roddio are mid? Any reason for you to tip it half an inch ? Or you just want a firmer feel? Would the Roddio be part of Epon option eventually?
