Posted March 15, 200717 yr comment_130999 I have a X-Drive 460 w/ XCON shaft. I heard a rattle the other day and wondered what was casuing the noise. It turns out the two screws in the head are removable. After taking both out and weighing them, they come in about .75g/each. Are there other weights you can add to this head like TM, Adams, etc? Has anybody seen the wrench to tighten these screws? BTW, this is one hell of a combo for a driver Bart
March 15, 200717 yr comment_131031 Where did you get your head from? Ebay? They are not supposed to be taken out. After you remove them and re insert them they are almost certain to rattle again. You could try black onyx to set it in there, but it gets brittle in time.
March 15, 200717 yr Author comment_131034 Got the head from a TS dealer. I assume they are made to take out to tweak the weight in the head as they are screws and have slots for a wrench. I am assuming if they were not for adjustments, they would of been permanent plugs, not removable screws. Just thought it was interesting. I will try some super glue as I have no plans on altering the weight of the head as it works great now. Bart Edited March 16, 200717 yr by bartolomeo1

March 16, 200717 yr comment_131056 It is kind of ironic, but the same thing happened to me. I also have a Tourstage 460 with the Xcon 6 installed in it. One of the est drivers I have ever hit. Most of that is really the shaft. I am still trying to get used to the deep face, but one you launch one, it goes for sure. I was averaging about 250-260 carry with 105-110 mph, and right now, I am at 275 carry. IMPRESSIVE. When I first hit mine, after the first shot, I heard the rattle in the head, so my clubmaker decided to just insert some glue inside the head and it stopped. He also said that the weights should not come out. I did not want to force it and it worked. So I am not sure, if these are random events, or if there is a much deeper issue here....... Chris, the head weighted at 208g Anyone have had the rattle noise as well?
March 16, 200717 yr Author comment_131057 How heavy was the head with the weights installed? Don't know to be honest with you as I never weighed the head. I will try here soon. Bart

March 16, 200717 yr Author comment_131059 There is only one, in Hawaii. Who is the dealer in Hawaii? I thought TSG was the only one in the US? Bart

Hawaii is sometimes considered "special grounds" because of its very close cultural connection to Japan.

March 16, 200717 yr comment_131115 My clubmaker was a ble to insert the glue tip through the hosel and it worked, no more rattle after that. How did he put the glue in if the weights were not out of the head? I am sure its a one off deal and not a widespread problem.Bart
March 16, 200717 yr Author comment_131121 is anyone interested in purchasing the weights and wrench? Please Thanks, Bart

March 16, 200717 yr Author comment_131128 Why its already the perfect weight? 203-208g what else could you do with it? You asked, I am willing to buy one if you can obtain one. I am always tinkering with my gear Bart
March 16, 200717 yr comment_131146 You asked, I am willing to buy one if you can obtain one. I am always tinkering with my gear Bart lol.. I hear ya, well the wrench isnt the problem its having the weights made. If there are more than 20-50 guys willing to do this then its almost worth a try, as of now its just me and you pal.

Bart PS-I would be interested in the wrench though.
March 17, 200717 yr comment_131181 The raw head was 198g, no plug. Brand New. It is kind of light for me, as I always play around 205g. I believe the extra weight came from the glue inside the head. Overall, with the shaft (45 inch finished) and grip, the swingweight was D2, which is where I play my driver. 208 is HEAVY! wow. Ive only seen them in the 205g range.
March 18, 200717 yr comment_131235 Just an FYI guys, all heads we have purchased direct from Tourstage are a 205g head weight. The fakes, trash bin, and black market X-Drive 460 heads on ebay are all coming in at 194-198ish. There should be no glue in the head if its brand new. It also shouldn't rattle.
