Ozik shafts growing on the Tour

At the Pod championship in Tampa, the count was around 18 to nineteen.

Names as follows:

Barlow, Choi, Coles, dufner, duke, Howell, Imada, Leaney, Na, Petrovic, Putnam, Wi, Lile, and Howison.

At Bay Hill, Matrix picked up Kenny Perry with a code 8 and Craig Perks with a XCON 6, and seven.

Arnold Palmer played with a new three and five wood fueled by XCON 6. He was so happy he called from the course and ordered a driver shaft to match.

Mr. Montgomery showed up Tuesday and had his Ozik irons shafts in Yonex clubs. He told our tour rep “Thanks lads.”

Perry and Sergio asked for drivers to test but the TaylorMade boys unhappily declined due to the lack of graphics...... no graphics no chance. Maybe that will change for next week.

the xcon series is very nice but i have to go back the code series for best kick or 'hinge effect' the company talks about.. for me the best shaft.

I'm intrigued with all this talk about the Ozik as well as the Roddio. Any TSG'ers out there who have experience with these shafts along with the Axiv's and Graphite Designs care to compare and contrast the lines? I would be very interested in hearing about it.

I've tried the Candy Proto/F7-M and Altus. Thinking about the TP-7X and or TP-7 but cost is keeping me away. Altus is an unbelievable shaft. The transfer of energy is unlike any other shaft I have tried. You really see the benefit when you make a smooth swing, slow back and then increase acceleration on the way down. Jerking it in the transition is right death. Otherwise hang on and watch the ball launch like a missle. Even though it is a high launch low spin shaft, I have my driver set to low w/ 12, 1, 1, 12 setup. Its windy around here in FL so I don't want to balloon. I also love the feel at impact of having the weights up front. I tried with the weights in the back and I don't like the feel and sound.
