  1. A few weeks ago we posted a Honma Beres S-05 4 Star Fairway Wood today we have the matching 4 Star S-05 Driver custom ordered from the SAKATA Factory in Japan with a custom matte black crown & 4 Star Shaft. We also had SAKATA adjust the standard face angle slightly open to promote a fade.
  2. Do you know the head weight and volume of the 907? The Roddio shaft W-7BA will frequency out at 282 cpm on 435cc OnOff driver (198.2g) at 45" D2. However, Srixon W-505 (201.7g) driver at the same specs is about 276 cpm. It depends on the Volume, head weight, length, and other factors. However, being Roddio certified we can adjust the cpms to the tee at + or - 1 cpm at your request.
  3. Sorry for the delay! This thread will be up & running this week.
  4. I'd say get the Ozik Xcon Altus shaft in Firm (71g). It has a little more spin & a more active tip to help you release. Sounds like that'll be a great setup for you. Good luck!
  5. At the Pod championship in Tampa, the count was around 18 to nineteen. Names as follows: Barlow, Choi, Coles, dufner, duke, Howell, Imada, Leaney, Na, Petrovic, Putnam, Wi, Lile, and Howison. At Bay Hill, Matrix picked up Kenny Perry with a code 8 and Craig Perks with a XCON 6, and seven. Arnold Palmer played with a new three and five wood fueled by XCON 6. He was so happy he called from the course and ordered a driver shaft to match. Mr. Montgomery showed up Tuesday and had his Ozik irons shafts in Yonex clubs. He told our tour rep “Thanks lads.” Perry and Sergio asked for drivers to test but the TaylorMade boys unhappily declined due to the lack of graphics...... no graphics no chance. Maybe that will change for next week.
  6. I just measured on we got in stock here. I got 19 7/8" tip to graphics.
  7. These with the matching MP-67s are by far the sweetest custom Mizunos I've seen. And I've seen them all! The Pics don't do it any justice.
  8. Here ya go! The Lepon Specs below are standard. But like all Epon orders, they can be custom built to whatever specs you want!! 9. It is dead easy to hit too. I ♥ it! Oh yes, I should have thought of these when you asked. I agree they are nice indeed. I'll post the specs soon. You got my double bend?? haha nah kidding! Well just to let you know..you got it for cheaper than me!!
  10. Here's my current set up. I'll update this soon with full pics of my bag. Finally a premium forged women's set! The driver has that same soft feel as the Epon 460 and I've found with this softer GD shaft I am hitting it a lot longer as well. The difference between the forged Lepons compared to my old Taylormade 360 ladies set are night & day. Much softer feel at impact. They are super forgiving as well. Did you see my wedges?? I am so confident with those. Chris likes them too!! LEpon forged titanium driver LEpon forged woods LEpon forged women's iron set LEpon forged wedges Taylormade Corza Rsi Plumbers neck
  11. The Endo Niigata factory tour was remarkable!! They kept stressing exclusiveness of our private tour with only high profile figures seeing the factory grounds we witnessed. You gotta hand it to Chris to get us in with the head designer and President Mr. Kobayashi showing us through the factory & explaining the whole process!! I must say that what stood out to me was the quality control and tight tolerance. The process is redone even if off by the slightest infraction. I've seen first hand that everything must be perfect and approved by a superior. Also FYI, an approved video to show you all the entire process is in the works. Two thumbs up for Endo!!
  12. There's a left handed category here: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/index-57.html Also, from what i seen so far at the Japan Golf Fair, lots of choices for left handed players soon to be released.
  13. Guess who's being trained by Daiwa to fit roddio shafts? Coming Soon..
  14. Stiffer Performance for Driver and Standard Performance for Fairway wood: Blind Bore - ½" Tip. Bore Through - No Tip. Insert shaft to 2" depth.
  15. New lines of OZIK shafts for 2007 For 2007, Matrix will be adding a new family to the OZIK franchise targeted for spin control. It will incorporate OZIK Altus and many of the ideas learned from Medius and Infra. The new OZIK weights as low as 54g and as high as 88g. With some bright, exciting color options... :tsg_smilie_cool: Also I must add that there will not be a Code-5 widely released, as is rumored. Any questions or comments?
  16. We fit the shafts with the information the golfer has available. The goal is to maximize performance by fitting the shaft to the golfer's swing characteristics that they provide. AXIV is great for custom fittings because they address the golfers swing speed with more specific flexes and with a low, mid, and high launch angle for each shaft. There is a total of 48 different models in the normal AXIV line to choose from. Not to mention 2 colors for each to suit your eye. And that does not include the AXIV-V (for the better player) with 16 more shafts in their line up.
  17. The Mamiya Axiv Shaft is one of the hottest shaft companies this year. It is said to can add 5-25 yards to the drive depending on the person. The Axiv line kicks vibrantly while maintaining a straighter trajectory and longer hang time in the air. The parent company Mamiya also owns UST and ACCRA shaft companies in the United States. Axiv is Mamiya's highest end product. Each model more precisely fits the golfer allowing greater results on the course. AXIV shaft AXIV V-Series shaft AXIV V-series info The Mamiya Axiv V-series is the newest shaft in the Mamiya-OP line up. The V series were designed for the better player. The AXIV tetra weave tech (anti-torsion) placed closer to the center rather than the butt end like the normal AXIVs. This promotes a great feel of the head position throughout the swing with a strong kick at impact. The AXIV V is a low spin shaft with a tight dispersion and penetrating ball flight. Very good for the hard hitter who wants to reduce spin. 5054 48 5.1 5.4 (RA) mid/high 5058 50 5.1 5.8 ( R ) mid/high 5062 52 5.0 6.2 (SR) mid/high 5066 54 5.0 6.6 (S) mid/high 6062 58 4.4 6.2 ( R ) mid/high 6066 60 4.3 6.6 (SR) mid/high 6070 62 4.3 7.0 (S) mid/high 6074 64 4.2 7.4 (SX) mid/high 7068 68 3.6 6.8 (SR) mid/high 7072 70 3.6 7.2 (S) mid/high 7076 72 3.5 7.6 (SX) mid/high 7080 74 3.5 8.0 (X) mid/high 8072 78 2.9 7.2 (S) mid/high 8076 80 2.9 7.6 (SX) mid/high 8080 82 2.8 8.0 (X) mid/high 8084 84 2.8 8.4 (XX) mid/high AXIV Shaft info: The AXIV was designed for the average golfer with a strong kick, mid spin, and minimal energy loss. 19. The AXIV V 7080 (74g) was made for fast swing speeds such as yours. It is a stable and accurate shaft with a mid-high kick to lower your ball flight. The Axiv V compared to the 757 is slightly lower. It has a penetrating ball flight with tight dispersion and will lessen bad left shots.
  20. On Nov 2, it will be available as a custom shaft option for Epon. I'm adding it to the pro shop right now. Pre order until its release. Also check out the Diamana shaft fitting thread: http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.php?showtopic=23087
  21. As seen on the JPGA tour the Como!Come! brand has been expanding to Japan's top players Ai Miyazato, Shigeki Maruyama as well as US stars such as Paula Creamer. Their newest putter cover soon to be released added a nice touch of Swarovski crystals to the already high end accessory. Sterling Silver golf accessories are also in the winter release. Check out the promotional images:
  22. If you would like to take the word of the Manufacturer (in this case Mamiya Axiv), install the logo up or down as they designed it with the spine in the appropriate position. Axiv shafts and other high-end shafts are quite right on the mark. However, if you would like your clubmaker to test the spine: to follow the Rules of Golf the spine must be located at the 9 o'clock position. If you are a left-handed player the spine should be placed at 3 o'clock. Only when the spine is located at this position are you following the rules of golf. Using the FLO method will tell you where the "spine" or point of "flat line oscillation" (FLO) is at. Let's say that you located that point at 60 degrees or 10 o'clock. You would then place the spine at 9 o'clock for a right-handed player (or at 3 o'clock for a left-handed player).
  23. Since its release like 3 years ago, I had the TourStage F-UT in my bag. I love that club. Easy to hit from just about any lie and nice soft landing. However, the TourStage ViQ is also really good just like the F-UT but less vibrations at impact. I've never tried the X-UT as of yet. I am too happy with these!!

  25. There was lots of hype on this ball at the golf fair, but the TourStage rep was pretty vague talking about this ball. And the language barrier didn't help much.. The TS V10 is a high performance ball that was described to have the spin and control of the X-01 balls, yet the distance of SUPER NEWING ball (known for its distance in Japan). And get this one...there is color options as well. Here are some pics. You can clearly see the dimple within the dimple design.
