Unfortunately, this is very common to those who quit on their first try. Quitting takes practice. The first time is always the most difficult. Facing the unknown with no experience on handling the hard times is tough. I must have "stopped smoking" about 3 serious times before this (9 months, 3 years, and 1 year). The first time was for about 9 months, and I too craved the whole time. But I noticed that although I eventually became a smoker again, it wasn't a battle lost. It prepared me for the next attempt, as a more experienced "Quitter". Each attempt was Obviously and Unbelievabley less challenging to quit. I knew how to prepare and motivate myself before the last cigarette, I understood how I personally was affected being nicotine free, I knew better ways (besides eating) to overcome the withdrawls and handle stress, and learned many more necessary tools to overcome my most RIDICULOUS "#1 Priority"!! Thankfully, every attempt made it easier to handle, the cravings subsided, withdrawls weakened, my concentration sharpened, and it seemed more normal to live without. This time around, I had no "REAL" cravings after the first 2 days besides "forgetting" that I quit, thinking about smoking, and simply saying to myself.."s**t, I forgot.. I don't smoke..oh well." But the most importantly, I learned that no matter how long it's been and how much I'm convinced that I'm not addicted anymore...It just takes ONE PUFF to become, once again, a Full Fledged Smoker. So NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF..

I don't really have a favorite drink. But I do have traditional Meal...Micky D's Egg McMuffin meal w/ a COKE. It drives Chris CRAZY that there is no exception to my Pre-Golf Meal. Lucky You!! Canada's Drinking Age is 19!! Must be nice..

Me too. When I was growing up, my Dad would smoke in the car with a Window only Cracked an Inch!! :)

I have been smoking since the 9th grade in High School about a pack a day. I just quit on Jan 24th. So far it's been about 11 days, and I feel GREAT!! I have quit a number of times in the past, sometimes for several years, but I have learned from my mistakes, and I will NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PUFF!! I agree..the CBS51 looks a lot more comfortable to carry. And it weighs 2.8kg. That's like 1/2 a kilo lighter!! Not that it matters for me...CARTS RULE!! :cool:

I really dont care for titty but id still get the cbs51 over that behemoth. Looks like it ways 10lbs. It weighs 3.3kg. :smile1:

Im kinda confused, Are these not many years old? Did the U.S just release them?

I have been using the Japan version of the TM R7 quad 9.5* MAX for about a month now. Just like you, I am in love. I have never hit anything more consistant and longer. I have mine set on "More Left", and this may sound unbelievable, but I have gained anywhere from 30-45 yards on a good drive because of the lack of fade and the ball seems to rocket off during the initial contact. Don't get me wrong...Sometimes I still do have a slight fade if I my swing is out of whack, but still the distance is 10-20yards longer than it would be hitting a fade with my old driver. The reason is not the Hi COR either...my old driver was high COR. Also, with the draw bias with the R7, I noticed with repetition I am unconsciously learning a draw even with my fairway woods and irons which is good because of distance, but not so good because I don't know where to aim and my iron shots don't stick. Nevertheless, I have never hit anything better. :D

Oops!! I have a handicap in the US. ...don't ask, don't tell... :wink: Thanks for the great info. But I don't see why it would be illegal, because I'm really not cheating others...my handicap just gives an impression that I'm a better golfer than I really am :D No harm done. Any thoughts on this?

I love High COR Drivers. In fact, it would be tough to convert back. Call me a cheater, but how can I turn down an extra 10 - 15 yards down the middle drive? :? Anyways... I was wondering who played a nonconforming Driver and what they thought about it. And..Who did not, and why not? :D
