Posted May 17, 200717 yr comment_134713 Just got my Epon X (copper) and Technity wedge (black), 13.5 fairway with mach line pro fairway and also the sacred Technity Driver with a Roddio W-7WA shaft. Just want to say, although i've only hit some balls into a pillow/blanket in my living room, i'm convinced there is a legitimate difference between japanese and USA brand clubs. I know this is nothing new to any of you, but it's my first time with Jspec equipment and I was skeptical about just how much of a difference there could really be. The 3 wood blows my mind! It feels like buttery lightning off the face! Unbelievable! Don't feel as much of a difference with the wedges, but they did feel incredible. Could feel the face gripping the ball and spinning the crap out of it. Obviously you have to try all this stuff at the range or the course, but so far i'm absolutely impressed! Aside from some putters, the Epon X wedge is the single nicest golf club i've ever seen. I'm going Epon for life.

May 17, 200717 yr comment_134723 Congratulations! It feels great when you know your financial investment into some great clubs has paid off. Get them out there on the course!
May 18, 200717 yr comment_134746 .......the course is calling......get out there and shoot the lights out...... ........and then report back on the site to the rest of us!!!
May 22, 200717 yr comment_134951 I'm going Epon for life. Already there. I've played or hit just about every brand and club out there. Epon rules the show IMO.
May 22, 200717 yr comment_134958 I liked the Epon but Callaway Hyper was a little easier for me to hit. Still have the Epon in original foil. PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Just Ordered Epon 460ZR 10.5 degree with Roddio W-6WA SR flex club in 45.75 inch final length from Chris. With all the hype of Epon and Roddio shaft I decided my first venture into TSG premium brand will be the Ultimate driver endorsed by this website. Since I wanted left side out of play and my swing speed is only about 90-95 miles/hr on the average by a launch monitor I decided to go with the SR flex in the W-6WA roddio shaft. Hope I made the right decision. If this club delivers than I will definitely be venturing into more epon stuff such as woods and irons and wedges even. For my investment sake I hope I will be epon for life as well. I am totally psyched!!!
May 28, 200717 yr comment_135211 I can't wait for the review. I say you hit it 10 yards farther on average. the feel and sound will sure be different. Congratulations on the Purchase of the Finest Driver and shaft combo on the Planet, IMHO and welcome to Epon

May 28, 200717 yr comment_135229 did you get fitted with tourspecgirl....the right roddio, also depends on tempo, wrist lag etc.... Did not get fitted by tourspecgirl. However, I extensively read her recommendation on both the AXIV shaft and the Roddio shaft based on forum members swing speed and there characteristic. I just made my best guess based on cumulative knowledge and the shaft availability. I was actually debating on the W-5BA shaft originally but it was out of stock per Chris. So I had to pick one of the 6WA vs 6BA. I picked the higher launch 10.5 degree Epon 460ZR head and basically married to lower spin shaft which is the 6WA. If I picked the 9.5 degree head I would have went with the higher spinning 6BA shaft. So I went for the higher lauch with lower spin combo in my mind. Also, I wanted to take the left side out of play because for me I don't mind a shot that is pushed to the right but I hate the filling if I pull one to the left. My bad tee shot is when I launch it low to the left. My best shot in my mind is a mid to high flying with straight or slightly fading trajectory. When I am really on and if I trust the shaft, I will get aggressive on my tee shot at times. My swing speed average is about 90-95 on the launch monitor whenever I test it. My tempo is probably average but I am aggressive through the ball. I have less wrist lag but I am currently actively working on hinging more aggressively. This is why I chose the lower flex rating at SR rating. My only concern is weather I should ask chris for even slightly softer mounting than the standard SR rating - maybe 1/4 flex softer if there is such a thing to sweeten the shaft to sweet spot of my average driver speed. Any comment?

Any comment? What is the SR rating for Roddio? CPM 255 to 260 at 45.75"? If you talking about 1/4 flex, are you talking about only 3 cpm?

I don't really have any technical spec on the shaft. I gather my information and made decision of the shaft based on above mentione criteria. When I was alluding to 1/4 flex softer it was just a gross estimate based on the fact that I tend to fall regular and stiff on shaft recommendation whenever I get tested and depending on the shaft itself. Also based on just looking at the recommended swing speed on the graph displayed for the 6WA shaft. The graph bar seems to start on low 90's where the SR flex probably fall under. If 1/4 flex softer (don't know what cpm difference this would be) may be the swing speed of high 80's to 100 would still be supported. Of course this dosn't take into other factors beside the swing speed in terms of loading ability. Maybe someone with more knowlege can chime in?

Any comment? i was recommended the SR 6wa flex, but went with the stiff flex for a tighter dipersion... but the combo turned out to be really long with the tight dispersion..... in every round there are 3-4 drives nowadays that are touching the 290-300 yard marks with most around 270-280 yards... i realized one of the reasons was that because of the increased confidence that the drive is going to be long, I now hold the club loose and dont try to rip it to get a few extra yards.... the more i do that, the moe yards I get... interesting, isn't it.....
