The new Mizuno MP Craft 460 is another top notch driver thats Japan only, Took it to the range the other day and hit it side by side against my gamer EPON 380 and my backup EPON 460 and must say its a really good club. Its a little too large for my eye but its forged feel is pretty soft unlike many drivers on the market. I would select the MP425 over this bigger version myself but both cant take me away from my EPON's. The MP Craft's face angle and lie angle can be adjusted by a skilled club maker who has a bending machine that can fit its large volume. Enjoy the pics.

This is not very helpful, my curiosity and lust for the epons is getting too overwhelming to bear. i may succumb soon :tsg_smilie_blackeye:

That looks really solid. No gimmicks. Just club.

I like that.

And it can be adjusted for lie!

And face angle!

Wow! :tsg_smilie_blackeye:

I agree 100%. It has the look of pure class. I can't tell if its dark blue or black. The bottom side

seems to have a blueish tint to it.

As soon as I recover from the last ho-a-thon i'm going to order one of these up with a Roddio.

Thanks for the pics Chris.

How does this compare to the JPX E500? I noticed a price drop on the JPX, therefore I'd really like to know the differences, and also how the stock Quad shaft performs.

and also how the stock Quad shaft performs.

One of the hottest shafts in JP right now. And the 1st shaft ever offered by Miz as an after-market shaft. There are quite a few Players under contract with Competitors putting the shaft in their Drivers. Imagine if you will a TM or Titleist driver sporting a Miz shaft :atsg_smilie_mizuno:

There are actually two versions of the Quad shaft, the normal Quad that is stock on many of the Mizuno drivers then the Quad Butt Standard which is the higher end shaft that competes with Axiv, Roddio and Diamana etc...

The feedback on this new 460 Craft has been very very positive, the critics only greeted the 425 Craft with lukewarm reviews saying it was far to hard a driver to hit for the average golfer. Popular with the pros but not really anyone else.

The 460 however has been designed differently with a far larger sweetspot, different weight placements focused on producing on distance and boring trajectory...

I will definitely find either a 425 or a 460 at some point; I've been waiting to bag another Mizzy driver ever since the 300M days. Doe's anyone know the face angles? Since we never see adjustments in lie angle on drivers what would happens to the loft (if anything at all) if you decide to flatten the lie angle?
