Srixon's New ZR-700 Driver

Recommended Posts

This is Srixon Japans newest driver the ZR-600 its a high MOI driver but it keeps the max rebounding effect where others lose a bit when going for higher inertia. They are saying this driver has a straighter flight with longer distance and better ball speeds than conventional MOI drivers on the market today.

They have a new technique called the 4 division buldge and roll that reduces side spin based on where you hit it on the face or where and also a new material called SP700HM which has a higher rebound that normal SP700 yet its still conforming to USGA rules.

I hit the new Srixon ZRW which is now available in the US and it has the same "starburst" face that the ZR700 does. and all I have to say is WOW.

The thing is amazing...so I cannot wait to try out the ZR700...

"starburst" face. Not familar with this term.....please explain.

Thanks!

See the first post where Chris has the pics with specs. It's the image of the inner side of the face, the inner shape of the face is like a "star burst"

I am very impressed with Srixon's releases to date,

For those jumping on this in September, please provide a quick review.

The shape and technology seems to be top notch and on the forefront.

Curious to know if the 4part bulge is as straight and forgiving as anticipating?

Anyone with experience on the now released WR driver that can add a comment?

Thanks,

Kent

Now I see, thanks G.

Sorta like "VFT" technology or something different?
