gocchin
First the driver: Tourstage has completely redesigned their ViQ driver. Still 460cc like the MX and deep it houses an all new look and design. It features more forgiveness than any previous Tourstage driver and higher MOI than any other ViQ: It features a dual fin face unlike other drivers that have a standard shaped face welded on, the dual fin actually extends to the crown and sole to transfer ball energy better. The dual fin space also makes the CG or Sweet spot extra large on the face as shown in the pics below that off center hits still produce close to 100%. A special bridge in the back creates stability and stops head twisting for straighter than ever shots:

chinkwan
If I am not mistaken.. ViQ used to go on two year cycles... i.e. the ViQ Iron was introduced in Dec 2005 and not it's replaced with new model.. Likewise the ViQ Fwy and Hybrid.. The ViQ Deep and ViQ MX came out Dec 06 and it's being replace in Dec 07 (one year cycle) Now the ViQ Forged came out Dec 06 and will be replaced this Dec 07.. I guess Tourstage is adapting the Talyormade model.. introducing so many R7 Drivers that it's even hard to keep track of what's what.. and that's not including the Burner models... Chris, when they go on clearance.. would you be able to secure a few sets of the ViQ Forged for us?? I am sure there are many TS ho's in the forum..
