If so, where can I get the specs/ Thanks. there is indeed a black golds for the japan market but as to the specs differing from the us black golds i have no idea. lets wait for other members to chime in as i am curious as well. i have the black golds us and japanese version on my epons and as far as looks wise and feel they are exactly the same.

Just out of curiosity, did the JDM Black Golds cost significantly more than the USDM version when you had Chris install them. I know the Black Golds on the 701's is an additional $90, what about your JDM version? Also, what flex of the BG's are you trying with the 701's??
October 8, 200718 yr I'm guessing they are the same despite the Made in Japan sticker, I have seen clubs made in China with made in Japan stickers on them so its hard to tell unless the product itself has it written. With Epon BG shafts are +15.00 per club.

October 9, 200718 yr Nice reading, Chris As a vendor of JDM gear exclusively, you could easily have said that the JDM Black Gold shafts played better than the the US versions, but you didn't, which just goes to show, that you're an honest guy
