Posted December 15, 200717 yr comment_145877 Check it out guys, the staff at TSG works has done an amazing job on making the chrome toyish R7 TP Forged iron into a real Man's club brushed up in Satin Look, with black paint fill and NS Pro 1150 Tour Stiff Shafts.

December 16, 200717 yr comment_145897 Beautiful job. Gives the clubs a look that implies that they mean business... And the Epon ferrules just can't be beat.
December 16, 200717 yr comment_145901 Great work, Chris - this iron head now looks fantastic What about the swing weight - it will come down a bit, when you polish the head to get the beautiful satin finish, won't it ?
December 16, 200717 yr comment_145903 I was planning on putting black fill in the TP logo and now I know what it is going to look like. THey look perfect now. How do you take the crome off?

No weight lost, nothing comes off of it, the chrome is simply brushed. These are setup D2 3-9 and D3 in the PW. We do have a couple sets available but they are expensive as this took some time.
December 16, 200717 yr comment_145915 Anyone with info on how they play? I second the comparison with the Fourteen 550s and how about that Yamaha irons? December 16, 200717 yr comment_145924 Very Nicely Done! It's amazing what some seemingly simple changes do to the appearance of clubs. The mere paintfill difference is unreal.
December 17, 200717 yr Author comment_145930 This finish was done a little differently. I started out with the buffing wheel, then used steel wool, then polished with brasso, then used more steel wool and finished it off with auto wax.
