To tell you the truth, I have tried alot, and I dont think you'll find one much better than whats in your bag. The cb2 with the right shaft is almost as good as it gets IMO. Blader-X
Two come to mind. The Epon of course, and the new Pro TP Fairway from Royal Collection. I still think the BBD model they made years ago was one of the all time fairway wood models. I haven't hit it but judging by its looks and the fact its made by Royal Collection, I'd say its a sure winner. I'm not in the need for a 3 wood, the Epon's doing very well, but if I were, the Pro TP would be my choice. I am putting a new shaft in my current 3 wood soon and I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.

New fairway woods come and go but the RC CV Pro and now the new CV Pro TP must be one of the all time best if you are a player.
Backspin9
I've been thinking about a new 3 wood as well. Currently have a TM HFS shafted with a Redboard and a BS J33 with a Speeder 869. Both are 15*. The TM is less demanding off the deck and the J33 is stronger of the tee. For me the 3 wood has always been the toughest club to get right and I wish I could find one that has the attributes of both of these. I really like both of these clubs and hit them pretty well so it's more a matter of "want" vs. "need". The PRGR M3 HIT (& Tour) have gotten rave reviews so that is a possibility. I'm also considering an X-Drive GR. There are so many nice ones out there now it really is a tough decision, especially since they all have different profiles. BigEasy
I received a RC Pro TP in November and had it reshafted with GD M-65 X, BUT HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO HIT IT! So cold here and so busy. It does look like a winner, though. I've been playing RC woods for 7 years now and this is easily the best. Very compact, very pretty. Got it from the tour and it's got something written on the hosel in Japanese, and my friend says "test sample" or something. Can't wait to hit it. shoe295
I too am beginning a search for a 3 wood, I probably don't need to have a new 3 wood but it's time to upgrade. as with all this exotic equipment so many choices result in a difficult decision. I like what I've read about the M3 hit tour and it sounds like a club that will fit my needs. but who the heck knows. Just have to see what the Golf Show brings and how I feel when I send Chris the pm ..shopping for golf clubs sure is fun tho

Get out there and hit it in the interest of all us club-ho's!! But seriously, when you do get the chance to give it a go please write a review for all of us. Attach some pics as well if you can. Interested to hear what you think of it.
