wmclarenf1
Anyone playing or played this? Looking for feedback. I;m playing the original Halos now and wonder how this plays compared to the Halo. Thanks in advance.
gocchin
I've never played the Halo but had a UT-106 in the bag early last year. A very easy utility to hit. A little on the larger side as in toe to heel length but it does the job and still sets up reasonably nicely with it's paint break hosel. If I remember correctly the face may have been ever so slightly closed.
Duffer19
I am actually playing T's old 106 since late last year and it is not a particularly difficult club to hit. My only complaint is that for a 21*, the ball flight is on the low side. I would prefer to be able to hit a high draw with a hybrid. Perhaps it is my swing (fault) rather than the club. I have not hit the Halo so I cannot compare. I am looking to the new PRGR Zoom X to replace my Fourteen.
dorkman53
I tried one. It was fairly easy to hit. What I didn't like about it is that it had a very hollow sound and the head didn't feel solid at all. That said, I can't fault its performance. +TourSpecGolfer
I tried the 106 vs the new 306 and like the 106 better, easier to get up and it also lands softer. The 306 was low, accurate and for the faster swinger. It was still a good Hybrid I just cant wait till G.Spirits brings their GS-UT out. dorkman is correct the feel of the 106 reminded me of the Cleveland hi bore feel. Slice1969
I felt like the 106 was a very high spin head. The ball just lifts up right away. Very easy to hit, but a bit on the big side for my liking. I could not hit anything except high trajectory shots, that spun like crazy. It was very problematic when playing in the wind. Ended up with an Adams Peanut, it is by far the best hybrid out there. Can hit it high, low and anywhere in between. Go with Adams tour versions hybrid, you will not regret it.
