golfrules
What is the most forgiving Miura iron currently available in the market? The Miura MC-102 is supposed to be for mid handicappers. What about the Miura Giken series available in the proshop at TSG? Thanks! :)

Of the latest and best looking models I suggest the CB-2006 but that is only if you are mid to low handicap.

+TourSpecGolfer
Besides looks, would the Passing Point be more or less forgiving than the new 2006? They look pretty equal, I would say the 2006 is a hair more forgiving but I may be wrong, I have not been able to hit both side by side and am making a comparison based on looks and how much meat the iron has in certain areas. I also dont think Miura Giken Japan will continue the passing point name much longer.
gocchin
The 2006 is the more forgiving iron than the passing point which was originally Miura's attempt at a forgiving iron. Chris is right that the 2006 has more meat and a more forgiving sole than the passing point which was razor thin for a "forgiving iron". golfrules
Thanks. So, I guess none of the Miura Giken irons are really meant for mid to high handicappers, since the description for 2006 says that it's for mid to low handicappers? It's target audience is more of the mid to low handicappers, but that is not to say that an improving higher handicapper with good iron skills couldn't play them. golfrules
Thanks. I guess I need to practice harder so that I have more club options :)
gocchin
(^_^) Sometimes it takes a more advanced club to make a player better.
