asianplow
Serveral years back I bought this putter from here. I don't remember much about it and can't seem to find much information about it. It is Gauge Design "The One" Crafting Edition. All I can remember is that it is a 350 gram head, forged, CNC Milled with a Nippon Shaft. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I need to sell some stuff in order to replace my sticks that were stolen late last year. This is the only thing that I'm uncertain about. I've attached some pics. Enjoy... +TourSpecGolfer
The Crafting Edition " The One " was one of Gauge Design Japan's last releases. It is the same thing as the standard product except it sports a blanks sole, no paintfill, and a gun metal finish. To be honest this finish will wear and rust in humid conditions especially because the putter is carbon forged steel.

Well luckly I live in a very dry place (Colorado):) I have a set of raw Mizuno wedges that I got back in 02' and they still haven't rusted. Anyways, thanks for the info! Tyler Knott Gregson
I don't know much, if anything about that putter other than the fact that's extremely cool looking! I love the looks of that thing and would love to put it in my bag.

I have this putter...I don't know about Gun Metal..seems darker than that to me (the original was more gun metal, this is pretty much black IMO). It CAN rust if you're not careful...You basically have to wipe it clean and keep it dry...If you do that it won't rust and the finish doesn't wear...I've had it for a number of years and still looks pretty much new...Now if you like hitting it against stuff or getting out of bunkers with it..yeah, it's really soft, it'll dent, wear, rust, etc...but otherwise it's fine. I have a G-Field Premium that I've been wanting to use and knock this out of the bag but so far it hasn't happened...
Tyler Knott Gregson
That is just a gorgeous putter. Speaking of how soft it is, does that ever come into play with your read on distances? Do you ever miss the distance due to the softness? Does the type of ball you play affect it too?

Do you ever miss the distance due to the softness? Does the type of ball you play affect it too? I don't think that's possible. It's not soft like a pillow....I do think the face grooves make a difference in how it feels...definitely less clicky than say, a Cameron...but it's still very much solid, not like an insert... Tyler Knott Gregson
Gotcha. Makes sense. Whenever I play insert putters, I always feel like my distance is off, I just can't seem to find the happy medium between the love of the soft feel vs. the screwed up distances I seem to hit. Maybe it's a lack of time on the putting green, maybe it's mental, but it always drives me crazy haha. Thanks for the feedback.
