Posted May 15, 200915 yr comment_155735 Can anyone tell me what the shaft tip size i Can use: 0.335 0.350 0.370 Thanks
May 17, 200915 yr comment_155770 The stock Mach Line shaft isn't bad. I switched to a matching Aldila NV Pro 105, and now I'm thinking that I may have hit the club a little longer with the Mach Line. Edited May 17, 200915 yr by NiftyNiblick
May 28, 200915 yr comment_155886 Depends on what you like and your capeability. Standard Mach line is excellent; Voodoo and Ozik are excellent and for those that like steel, the KBS hybrid shaft is excellent. I'm having a couple shafted up with the KBS to compare.
June 11, 200915 yr comment_156025 It's 0.370. Hey T: Can you post some side by side views of 901, 22 degree to 701 5 iron? I am currently playing the 701s with ns1050 stiff, 5 iron, 38.25 at D3.5. Hitting 5 iron 180-185 yards. Would the 22 degree fill the 190-200 gap and with what shaft? Thanks, Brad
June 12, 200915 yr comment_156034 i have an xcon altus hybrid in mine and it's been a nice combo. so much that i got a backup shaft just in case i wrap mine around a tree on an off day =)
June 22, 200915 yr comment_156129 My Epon AF-901 19* is fitted with a Matrix Ozik Altus Hybrid and I find it the sweetest driving iron I've used.
June 25, 200915 yr comment_156151 These are still at the top of my list of all time best driving iron. I have a decent swing speed and I was shocked how I could hit the stock mach line shaft with a smooth swing much further than my old go to UT-85 shaft. I have yet to try some of the Diamana, or ozik hybrids in this particular head but i believe you guys when you say it rocks.
July 25, 200915 yr comment_156524 Separate topic on the same equipment: I am using a TaylorMade Burner 22deg Rescue but found it a bit to heavy. Preferring irons, I am thinking of the 901 utility. What would be the lightest shaft you could fit? Believe it or not I can hit my 3-iron better than my rescue club.
