idrive
I had this Putter already but sent it back to Sasaya to have a bunch of stuff done to it. Had a chance to play with it yesterday and just couldn't get over how soft it feels. Still extremely solid. Just an amazing Putter. The attention to detail and the overall quality is exceptional. Tyler Knott Gregson
Looks like a beautiful putter. I have to ask, how to the ridges affect the ball roll and the way the ball flies off after impact? Does it add or take away any spin? I'd be curious to know as I've not seen ridges like that on a putter.
+TourSpecGolfer
Wow thats a stunning putter. I have not had the chance to hit a GF putter with the slit & PZ milling. Let us know how it feels and rolls man! Is it solid feel or tink/mute, how would you describe it?
Mjr. D
Supremely nice putter. Perhaps up the exposure comp on the next round of photos though......... kind of dark I just played my first round with my golds.......... outstanding putter. Soft and rolls it incredibly. Love the blue on yours.
idrive
Two better pics for MjD :) Played 27 today with this baby and had it dialed half way through. My gamer is sweating bullets. It rolls the ball perfectly. Starts rolling instantly. It is my strong opinion that this groove pattern rolls the ball better than without. Helps put an immediate top spin on the stroke. Skidding is dramatically reduced. The Sound: I'm not sure there is one. Very soft, very muted dull thud. NO tick, tink, clank, ping or any other metallic sound. Dull, very quiet thud. I couldn't be more pleased in every way possible.
shoe295
That putter is breathtakingly beautiful! Can a putter ooze quality? Very very nice
Tyler Knott Gregson
I'm still curious as to just how the ball reacts to those little ruts. How does it affect the ball roll and the moment of impact? SO gorgeous though. Well done.
NiftyNiblick
Does that company make any non-offset putters? I prefer shaft-aligned or onset putters but a number of clubmakers are only making offset models. I didn't see anything not offset on their website. How does it affect the ball roll and the moment of impact? SO gorgeous though. Well done. The grooves are positioned so that they lift the ball to help it start rolling. The idea is instead of pushing the ball which causes skidding to help start top spin and eliminate skidding. No question the Putting stroke is the biggest factory in rolling a ball correctly but the grooves help reduce skidding even more. Does that company make any non-offset putters? Granted it may not come cheap but you can have anything you can dream up. I'm telling you that this Putter is so soft you could Putt with a rock and it would still feel soft. I have four Gold's with the grooves, two with an insert and two full face milling. The only thing I don't like about them is they all perform so well I feel guilty leaving one in the bag full time and leaving the others home. I've come up with a rotation formula... it's so entailed/complicated I don't want to go into detail here for fear of confusing myself....
