idrive
I picked up some items from the Pro Shop when they added the stuff from Toustage, MIzuno and the rest. I couldn't be any happier with it. The stuff really is a step up in make up and quality. I'm very happy with all of it. They all seem to have features that I didn't expect. Linings, asst. pockets in great spots, versatility. Only disappointment was they were sold out of the Silver compression shirts. Anyone else order any of the gear. Thoughts? Did you feel it was worth the money? FWIW I generally wear a Med. I bought all Larges and they fit Perfect. I really like showing up with stuff nobody else has. This stuff looks better and works better.
gocchin
As you guys can imagine, since I live in Japan I have access to all the brands, and while I never bought clothing much when living in the West I do love the apparel here and have tons of it. Once Spring rolls around we will be expanding apparel since that is when most of the top stuff comes out also at much better prices than jackets and sweaters. I love LeCoq Sportif that many of you may have seem YE Yang wearing... its bright! Admittedly not cheap but looks darn good!
corky3
In short, I haven't taken the plunge yet, the apparel became available when I was maxed out with buying a load of European clothing ( I love Galvin Green stuff - Swedish manufacturer, not available in US AFAIK, I always buy some when going back to the UK) I will probably try some (I like the COQ DE SPORTIF stuff that I've seen.... funny I always thought this was a French Brand) in the spring when the new stuff becomes available, I love The caps (get some Tourstage in)

+TourSpecGolfer
I feel there is a big difference in the quality of much of the JDM high end clothing when compared to what the U.S is familiar with in their golf clothing. Bottom line is in regards to JDM apparel you get what you pay for, higher price but better quality and materials. When you think of it the way the apparel is manufactured and distributed in Japan it's pretty much all limited stuff, a run is made and when it's all sold out there usually isnt another run produced. Then there are shirts and shoes that are extremely limited that many brands dont advertise and that cost an arm and leg. I actually have one of these for sale a 2007 Nike TW edition lamb leather jacket never sold only produced for special clients. I can take pics for those interested but just keep in mind I'm selling it for 750 brand new. Taylormade has had a few amazing made in Japan summer golf shirts that last forever dont get furry from the wash and the material blend on the colar is pretty high tech. TourStage always has amazing quality clothing, Mizuno, man come to think of it most of the brands are above and beyond what you expect in golf apparel. Callaway's premium apparel line is one of if not the best and not only do they produce golf play clothing but awesome casual wear as well check it out: http://callawayapparel.sanei.net/collection.html It isnt cheap! In Japan lots of people wear golf related apparel even when not on the course. It's styling for sure, very classy not at all dated looking. All huge brands in Japan with exclusive clothes for the Japanese market as Duffer alluded to. We will have them all this spring. The Descente group is huge as you can see below.
