supo
mate..............., i just got back from the range. i love them exactly as they are uber skinny grips, dGR400 SHAFTS i was moving them all over the place, swinging well within my self and making spectacular contact. id been saving my self for these 08s and im over the moon. they are going str8 into the bag for this weekends match uve been onto these for a while,,,,now i totally understand. epon 302 vs these.............. epon softer , these are easier to hit , AND easier to wor.k better distance control i thought first hit out the feel is legendary, just a bit more solid than the epons and a bit smaller. wow. +TourSpecGolfer
Hey Stew, I usually get more workability with smaller grips and straighter shots with fatter grips. Have you tried the 905 Limited CB?

Spoon
the r400 are heavy but on the flexier side, with your SS you can defintely shape your shots with a nice tempo. i doubt though youl have the patience to use these long term. but for the price you got em for i would have pounced on them as well! supo
played them today on long course 7100 yards VERY blustery conditions . as they were 1/4 inch shorter than geijin standard 5 iron 37.75 hit the ball well scored well considering the cons, putted like a goose!( and not the retief version) the irons are superb feeling , beautiful shape, solid but with a soft middle. the r 400s are a wonderful mixture of weight with forgivness. they suit these heads perfectly. today i think they were a little on the theatrical side. the wind blew themabout a bit. but hit most greens nicely. sole is medium, width, no results like my ones with the epon 302s, got them to turn over well, nad cut no problems Bogeydog, i know why u keep getting a new set of these each yr. hard to take out o fthe bag for next week,
