Lennie
Can't seem to find any commentary on the new EM-S driver. Would like to hear from anyone who has any experience with or has seen it "live". Thanks.
smallgi2002
Can't seem to find any commentary on the new EM-S driver. Would like to hear from anyone who has any experience with or has seen it "live". Thanks. I have a Epon E.M.S with Tour ad DI-6s shaft. The weight of head is less than 200g so that it is easy for swing with DI-6s. Therefore, the surface of contact face is coating with "some" metal, i guess is Ni. So the voice of E.M.S is not loud but clear. I think it is a great improvement to E.M.B including the scorpion mark. The feel of E.M.S was direct, longest, straight. This driver was very easy to hit the longer ball and still have a great, forgiving feeling. Edited February 20, 2010 by smallgi2002

It is a 9.5 with a Bassara Griffin Tour prototype shaft. We've had snow on the ground here almost all winter so I haven't had a chance to hit it. Headed to Orlando the first week in March though and intend to give it a good test along with my new Epon irons and putter. Look of the face on this club is interesting.....almost looks like chrome.....
[email protected]
I an em-s driver. It flies high, long and straight. It is paired with a diamana shaft. The head is stiking, and seems very light. It's the best head I have ever hit.
Spoon
i have two ems drivers and gave one to the wife. she hits it long and straight. mine is a 10.5 shafted with oban revenge 65s, although swapped it recently for the oban devotion. much better. all in all i like this a lot , big improvement over the EMB in the looks, feel and most especially the sound department. i personally gamed this for several months before moving to the 151. for those who want a easy to hit driver that goes straight, the scorpion is for you. +TourSpecGolfer
Ditto It's a huge improvement over the EMB. The Sound has been muted, feel enhanced and it has a much better setup. The launch is a about the same and in my experience they were equals in distance as well. FYI the scorpion is on the Japan version, we can get that model for you too if you request it at time of purchase.
