May 20, 201014 yr I've added the AF-202 to the shop for those who are interested. Please email me if you want to purchase as they cannot be checked out through the pro shop. I can help those who need recommendations on shafts or specs.
May 24, 201014 yr ok guys i have about 3 rounds under my belt with the af202ht. using a stock shaft machline FW 65s with it, this is a very big improvement over the previous generation 201. over the years by go to wood was a 17* kzg wood that was shallow and relatively easy to hit, this one is just as easy to hit and although it is 15*, picking up the ball and launching it from virtually any lie was very easy to do. i was really surprised. the first shot i hit with it was on an incline ball below my feet and pulled of the shot. have since used it in the rough, ball above feet, fairway etc etc and it is stupid easy. there is a different sound when you pure the ball, a sound that is metallic twang defintely absent in the older af201. got used to the sound after hitting very good shafts. with the particular shaft combo i got a nice high launch trajectory which is what i like. was able to hold several greens as well . love this one you could probably use a different shafts to get your preferred traj but the machlines are decent in my book so will most likely keep them as is. so in short, the 202 has lived up to my expectation. the shallow face is exactly what i was looking for. i dont know why anyone would choose the regular version of the HT. Ht is one of the easiest clubs i have hit. i havent tried the spoon egg but for not i am not so curious anymore:)
