supo
ahhhhhhhhhhh, yes ,cum hoc ergo propter hoc the fubuki is very pleasant. lovely feeling and a joy to hit , a fantastic upgrade shaft for a minmal extra fee.cant go wrong here at all, unless......................................, you take a walk on the wild side, feeling fruity????? ALL the matrix range ive hit in fairways ........., are sensational.brillaint length, flight feel . top package the 60s..., xcon 6.., f6m2. hd-6 all brilliant. but then again................, if ur looking for a quantam leap. the QUADRA drivers shafts cut down open up an entire new world,NOT the easiest to hit , in fact quite difficult to hit well, not the greatest comfort feeling either, but hang on to your hats when u see where the ball ends up, loooooong ball lama ! when my f7m2 gets here tomorrow and gets whacked i n the new 15* then i think i might have close the ultimate feel/performance club , BUT until i game it, the above stands! gocchin
hit around 20 balls with my new egg spoon. well what can i say, it is a vast improvement over the old spoon. sound is superb and feel is very good. but what sets this apart from the previous spoon is its forgiveness and radical shape. looks uber futuristic and the v sole works on tricky lie. i find though that the Epon ht feels better to hit but both are equally forgiving. hit it in the range matt, off the tee and even from thick carabao grass to simulate tight lies and i wasnt surprised how easy it is to pick up and launch the ball. only drawback was the m40 shaft. too light and was launching the ball too high. i should have been more patient and waited for the fubuki alpha shaft. oh well that is spilled milk. will game this on the course tom and do a shoot out with the af202ht+ redboard shaft. i want to see which is longer amongst the two. both are pretty forgiving so i will concentrate on length. i have a couple of shafts to replace the m40 in mind. i will keep it in the 60+gram range region as i like my FWs on the softer lighter side. mainly: 1. Oban devotion 65s. Mid launch-Mid-low spin 2. Oban Kiyoshi 65s. High Launch- Uber uber low spin. ( Tested this shaft on a 102 10.5 had a trouble launching it because of lack of spin and wondering if it will work with the 3 wood. 3. Matrix Ozik f6m2. ( Got influenced by Supo67) 4. Gd di 6s. Have one for the driver but i am hesitant to cut a $380 for this experiment 5. Quadra fire express FW 65S. (dont have one but can get one) mental gymnastics is very tough and i am going nuts trying to find a perfect mate for the spoon C, the M40 shaft shouldn't be considered a drawback... it's not a bad stock shaft. It just happens to be the wrong choice for you. Based on all your alternatives the M40 is not even close to the right flex. It's rated for just around 90mph while all the others you listed can handle 105mph. Naturally it's lighter, softer and higher launching. Why didn't you opt for M43 around 97mph? PRGR has a winner here unfortunately they grossly underestimated the demand! willy wonka did not make enough golden chocolates!

Spoon
rather than butcher this club and start experimenting with shafts, will just sell it and wait til the alphas become available. oh boy i should have been more patient

Thanks for all the info on shafts and clubs it does help the rest of us, can you let us know what your swing speed and physical dimesions are so we can get a bit of a baseline for comparison. I am tossing up between 15 and 17, I usually can't hit 15's very well and have been using an 18 cobra pro but the idea of having a 15,18 and 22 in the bag appeals. I am tossing up between 15 and 17, I usually can't hit 15's very well and have been using an 18 cobra pro but the idea of having a 15,18 and 22 in the bag appeals. Thanks Vineman i had a highish ballflight, a bit too high but that is not the fault of the club. unfortunately i got the club knowing that it wouldnt be for me and that i would just pull the shaft. i can say with much confidence that the 15 is quite easy to hit compared to other woods i have tried. the egg is low profile and the sole makes it easier to pick up the ball. the crown is just something else and the edge is just as thin as a blade. its beautiful. wether to get the 15 or 17? that is the never ending question. i know for a fact that the 17 will be much easier than the 15. havent regretted my choice though. good luck
supo
Yea some guy dropped me on Wrx. No contact with him since he accepted pay pal. Very upsetting been waiting for this for 2 weeks. Hoping hes just on hols or something. Oh well gives me a chance to try the quadra which im ver y excited about. I def need something a little lower launching than the old one from a tee、i found this to. Be too high yesterday. Its great from the ground but not piercing enough off the tee box. Cost me too much in direction to b what im after as my driver replacement, the new one is earmarked for that with the quadra now, the fubuki is very good but just not good enough . Im too picky! gocchin
S, The Quadra will give you better direction and trajectory than the Fubuki. You already know very well that it is one awesome shaft.

gocchin
I played again with the spoon yesterday and I have to make a point on the aerodynamic wind sound this club makes when you swing it... no other clubs makes a whoosh through the air like this one does... If I'm not mistaken the tip is 0.335" but I will double check as sometimes fW's are 0.
