supo
chaps question..............., i do manage to hit my fair share of sticks. im particularly partial to driver shafts. i think ive hit pretty much all the uber ranges. the obvious ones keep popping up quadra, crazy, GD, matrix, but i dont see lot of chat here about roddio. i have no diea why, these are firmly in my favourite shafts . they have a distinct bias either let or right and the tighter flex play as dynamic as any. is it bec no marketing by daiwa??? ive replaced a cpl of these recnetly and man they feel fantastic. the s7x s6x for the harder swingers are UP THERE cazaly! the 6wba and w6wa for more carry and distacne i think ull find it hard to beat for carry high ball drives . they just dont get noooooooooooooooooooooooo luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv. pour quoi ? Spoon
the roddios were pretty hot back in 06 and 07 , i actually gamed the wb6a or was that the wa6a? i actually forgot already what model it was. it was ok, kinda pricey for their day but i have moved to other things such as axiv, gd and now quadra. pre quadra the roddios felt damn good but did not like performance so much. quadra is superior in every aspect. as for marketing i remember chris saying that they do not sell shafts alone and they would have to be assembled by roddio specified installers. that could be the reason why they never got as popular as they could have been. shacco
Hey Stew, still have the Roddio in my Yamaha Driver. Works and feels good to me. Would love to hit it on a launch monitor though to compare numbers. I'd be interested in spin numbers. Tend to spin the driver too much. Keen
I still have a w7wa x-stiff in my driver. Like it, but at a LM session last fall/winter it seemed like it spun too much. Still, like it but might switch to a Quadra proto if I get the cash. It works fine when I swing around 110, but if I get to 115-120 it doesn't keep up as well
Blader-X
Yes awhile back I too had a Roddio. The W-8WA was in an Epon head. Its now just shaft only sitting in my "club" closet here at home. I remember using it for a few months but it just never stuck with me. I didn't see any huge yardage gains as others had and quite frankly the feel didn't suit me as well. It was installed properly but I just never fell for it. Now the GD P9003x on the other hand, there's a shaft that suit my to a tee. I have yet to try the Quadra's or Crazy's.

supo
well i know stew has the p9003x and also has the new proto qfex75sx. from what i have read they play similar. that p9003x.........., now thats a bombers shaft. ilovethat. the older roddios are def higher launch higher spin . prob not the best for 110+ as you say. but for my 2 partnes who swing in the 98-105 range they ahve seen humongous increases in their driver distances, ,and they both hit all the top enders, the roddios tho i cant pry form their hands under any circumstances. ive hit he new s7x and its a beauty thats not high launch etc its a great shaft, hope they are at the show tom , ill ahve a big chat to them about end what end make shafts for. that 9003x.................. (mjr d , why????)

+TourSpecGolfer
Great news! had a meeting with Roddio yesterday we are clear to offer their product shaft only now which wasn't the case before. The new models are less finicky than the old and supposed to be much better. Expect full coverage on Monday!

Shambles
I have Spoon's old Roddio. It was purchased by a friend who found it noodle soft for his swing on an old Epon and became desperate to sell it to me. Of course I refused to buy it regardless that it suited me well. A year or so later he sold it to me at sacrifice level and I put it into a 909 D3 but the shaft came out a bit stiff. Still very usefull but stiffer than it used to be. The former owner confirmed it was now playing stiffer than in his Epon and is now trying the club out while searching for trade bait. Shambles well heres a little experiment i did last night.., roddio s7x in a yamaha 2010 v201 10* cannon!, ever so slight draw cannon! you can totally forget about roddio being a sloppy jaloppy shaft now ,NO WAY.., this wont be getting touched il oved this set up. the new shafts are a lot tighter and a lot more dynamic. dispersion is super tight. the x flex suite me prefectly. the s is a flex too soft but the x is perfect. im going to put that 3 w proto tour shaft in the yamaha 3w v 14* and have a little roddio set. i think they are really good!
