Posted February 18, 201114 yr Opening day of the show , and eyes wide open. too much to take in, sensory overload Yonex tho has always interested me , so stopped in for a peek, big showcase, with PLENTY of new gear. i was drawn , like a vampire to a long neck, to the new iorns for Ryo-kun. now i think i got this right ,i ll double check it tom ,they are forged by zodia in chiba. they look terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific ! nothing fancy about these at all , the stamps, the lie , the shafts,just one of the best looking muscles ive seen. they have a flat lie , somewhere between round and square toe. small head the 3-7 are full muscles, the 8-9-pw tho, VERY much inspired by the tourstage 901 but a lot more solid. these most definatly will find a home in my bag this season. best looking irons ive seen in a long time. UNFORTUNATLY I CANT UP LOAD PICCYS, so youll have to wait till tom, and hopefully ill be able to HIT them and give a little report. to look at seriosuly good! Edited February 18, 201114 yr by supo67
February 19, 201114 yr wow nice and clean! my 5 year old yamahas were amazing. always loved the yonex gear, they are very underrated but can stack up with the best. their models are so clean and the very fact ryo games them will be sort of a marketing selling point!

February 19, 201114 yr We tried our best to get these in stew's hands to hit, the story was that Ryo is still evaluating them and has yet to find his groove with it. The single set they had on display was a product they were not comfortable with it's performance as of yet. some fine tuning will be done so what you see in the pics is one of two prototypes manufactured for Ryo. It will be coming to the market in it's final form probably around April or so.

March 2, 201114 yr Author lets hope their marketing department doesnt get too involved with these. oh god d yea.. thay are perfect in every way as they are. nothing esle.... by the fact that they were actually showing them, id say if they release them which you gott thnink they are........... then this is how they will be. and then.......... THEY WILL BE MINE....................!
March 8, 201114 yr Is it just me or does the sole look really thin? I do wish there were comparison pics to judge the size of them.
