supo Posted February 18, 2011 Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) Opening day of the show , and eyes wide open. too much to take in, sensory overload Yonex tho has always interested me , so stopped in for a peek, big showcase, with PLENTY of new gear. i was drawn , like a vampire to a long neck, to the new iorns for Ryo-kun. now i think i got this right ,i ll double check it tom ,they are forged by zodia in chiba. they look terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific ! nothing fancy about these at all , the stamps, the lie , the shafts,just one of the best looking muscles ive seen. they have a flat lie , somewhere between round and square toe. small head the 3-7 are full muscles, the 8-9-pw tho, VERY much inspired by the tourstage 901 but a lot more solid. these most definatly will find a home in my bag this season. best looking irons ive seen in a long time. UNFORTUNATLY I CANT UP LOAD PICCYS, so youll have to wait till tom, and hopefully ill be able to HIT them and give a little report. to look at seriosuly good! The single set they had on display was a product they were not comfortable with it's performance as of yet. some fine tuning will be done so what you see in the pics is one of two prototypes manufactured for Ryo.
