rjklein4470
I was going to get another set of AF tours in black finish, is there anything else I should consider? Edited March 11, 2011 by rjklein4470

+TourSpecGolfer
We can get you Any epon iron or wedge in your choice of chrome, brushed satin, copper or black finish for an upgrade charge.
idrive
IF you're going to play them a lot, you might like Copper, it wears very well, much better than the black. As a trophy set I'd get black.
FatMan
Should be a sweet set. At the same time, you get the lighter heads that you are looking for.
supo
hey chaps..., is there any playability differnce between the differnt heads? ive hit the coper wedges and they def felt more solid , no where near as soft same in putters the metal felt like a much harder constitution. jeff those ones on your avatar i presume are the 302s? i was thinknig of getting a set of kyoei muscles in copper a while ago but i balked bec my ex.perience wasnt great with what i hit . the rawheads i know very well having the yururi flatbacks and dozens of kyoei wedges but still curious about the copper heads. rjklein4470
Ok I just saw the copper finish and it is very nice too. However I went to the black finish because I really need these heads 8 grams lighter, and the rumor was the black finish was 6 grams ligher. So Tourspecgolfer what say you! hook me up
coops1967
I had my 301's originally in black - felt somewhat harder than standard chrome finish. In Thailand the heat and humidity meant rust was a major issue - so Epon refinished them for me to the copper chrome. Same feel as regular nickel chrome, same anti corrosion properties and wear is fine. Pics of a brand new iron then after much use.... supo
oh boy..., they are the best looking finished clubs ever.
Spoon
i would get them in copper as well. had a set of 301s in copper which i sold to a friend, they are absolutely stunning. i owe my copper 301s to jeffs set! he was the first one to have em and after seeing it fell in love. nothing better than a nicely worn copper head that has developed some patina
FatMan
so what does the copper finish look like? I hope J doesn't mind. Here's a link to his thread on his copper 301s from awhile back.
