Mjr. D
I've heard you can order these shafts in any flex you want as they're wrapped on order. Anyone know? Also, is tipping of these shafts a bad idea or perfectly fine? Thanks.

Mjr. D
I don't know, I play the Crazy's in XX which is perfect. That's why i'm wondering if I should tip the Fire Express Proto in pro X, an inch...

That's why i'm wondering if I should tip the Fire Express Proto in pro X, an inch... After plaiyng the Crazy in the driver for last 2 weeks i took the fire express out and i could feel it was noticably softer not sure about the proto but it should be stiffer than the old one i should get mine back tomorrow so i will let you know how it compares, i dont see why you couldnt tip it

gocchin
Quadras are completely fine tipped. As a matter of a fact, Quadra suggest tipping to increase CPM, I think it was 0.5" for 8cpm.
Mjr. D
Does PRO X represent XX already? Would I have to tip the Quadra Pro X a little to match that of a Crazy Black in XX?
Spoon
Does PRO X represent XX already? Would I have to tip the Quadra Pro X a little to match that of a Crazy Black in XX? well with other shafts, XX=TX or tour x. so im assuming PRO X is the same as T X. why dont you get the pro x and play it as is but longer length and if you feel like you have to tip it then youl have the flexibility to do so. +TourSpecGolfer
Good idea spoon, I always do that start at it's longest working my way down if it's a bit too high launching. Thanks, Chris
Mjr. D
Yep, good call. That's what I will do. I thought Pro X might basically be an XX. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks guys.
