Posted May 6, 201113 yr comment_166760 Although they are not currently my gamers, I feel my Epon AF-301's are still one of the single best irons made in the player's CB category. I still look out for Epon irons in good used condition and at a reasonable asking price, but they are rarely available. This could well be indicative of the quality of the product, or simply low adoption and supply in the States. Can anyone elaborate on what has happened to Epon's presence in the US? Have they divested from this market due to low penetration or some other business driver. The website has been taken down, and several of the US resellers seem to be gone.

May 6, 201113 yr comment_166763 The market in the U.S. for exclusive JDM equipment is very small. There are a few authorized resellers of epon in the U.S. not always within a person's ideal geographic location. I think epon is right to focus on their small market of golfers who want top quality and custom options. Typically, someone who buys epon has disposable income and has tried/owned many other brands as well.

The working site is www.epongolfusa.com. You can see the list of dealers there. I was recently fit and had a great experience. I would have it no other way considering how expensive the product is. I could not justify just buying a set of new sticks sight unseen and without getting fit.

This seems to be a very special brand and I like the fact that it's not everywhere. At least I feel pretty special to have a set of awesome sticks like these! :)
