supo
I have a set of revese off set blades, the Sakamotos, very very small compact rounded blades, extremely good looking clubs. thin soles, thin topline. but very very of set the pw is shovel like, the 5 iron is normal. i have balked lot at playing these beceause the off set , disturbs my eye. but in oz i played these a NSW and struck them very well indeed. the only thing i noticed was i had a tendency to pull the ball more than normaly do, i i didnt slice the ball at all, which kinda suits me the feel is great, low launch, good distance. and the amzing thing found was the shovel pw and 9 iron were as good for me as anything else i have to hit, aiming at pins withthese 2 clubs i found to be very successfull. i dont like looking that the shape of them still but i must admit, the results were top stuff. most JDm ger isee has a bit of offest them, these are just very big , but playing them , it makes me hit hte ball ver consistantly even the af tours ive noticed have bit of offset about them ididnt mind palying them once i got the shape out of my head, i hit htem very well, does anyone else have thoughts about this style of irons? Interesting stuff. I saw a 2nd hand mint set of Saqras in BKK a while ago, and very cheap too. But was a bit worried about the reverse offset. How was the long irons? Difficult to hit anything but straight/fade /slice?
