supo
Ok, ive played this shaft in 2 drivers now, the yonex 10* 380 and the yamaha tour v425 9* thoughts........, it was super in the yonex. but i thought this as being wasted in this head, as i dont think its the longest or best quality , it played perfectly well, but like all lthings, its time for a change it was tight without being tort. low without running along the ground and just nice . so i swapped it over to the yamaha for a test bec i hadnt been playing this with the FEX in it. the FEX is awsome but if u tend to slice theball bit it can be the worst nightmare ever in a difficult head like the yamaha ive noticed the bangvoo is pretty straight so i figuered this might be a good time to hit this baby in maybe the best of all heads if ur having a good day with the 1 wood. takes a bit of time with this head to get used to the size of the face which is TINY it def went straighter more often than the FEX its really low as well. its not as good feeling as the FEX but distance most certianly wasnt an issue. i caught a cpl absolutely dead clean centre and oh boy it got out there. its not as tight as it says on the sticker but its no slouch, not by any stretch of the imagination. im gonna game this on sat as well. the FEX fells better than the bangvoo on the range ,but for certian the bangvoo is easier to hit and straighter, i think th fex is longer but not by much id day. proper deets on sat arvo. Spoon
Makes sense to use this on a more premium head than the yonex. Do you still have your old yonex 9deg nextage? Good decision on putting it in the yamaha, best feeling head with a super high end shaft. Your comparing it with the FEX right? The non proto I assume. How would you rate the bangvoo vs the Proto FEX?
supo
they are pretty similar actually. a lot more so than the FEX. i like the proto better for my SS its pretty spot on. its feels livlelier, but the bangvoo is juts a differnt feel , its got plenty of thump no probs with that ,its just the quadra feel i really like. BUT i dod like the straightedness of the bangvoo. thats a very good thing

+TourSpecGolfer
The 787 is indeed a fairway finder. Tatsuro has been gaming it in U.S events and will be using it for his run at Japan Q school in a couple of months attached to the JBEAM 425 Tour head or Akira M209. Blader-X
Keep us posted on how this shaft goes. I for one am very interested in the 787. I'm a little behind the times in the shaft category. At the moment Goodsie is swapping out my GD P9003 in my Epon for a Quadra proto. Really looking foward to that. The 9003 is going into the Yonex 380.
