Eca
Hi Sandee, My experience with Mitsubishi shaft is with ilima in a FW and they are quality. I have used the Quadra Fire express 65sx (lower launch) and now Crazy CB46 7.2 (higher launch) and to me they are definitely better. It really depends on what you want to achieve ie trajectory, spin, weight class etc. At your SS though it seem you be better off with Crazy who i believe initially was designing shaft for real fast swingers/long ball champs. They certainly have the various range to cater for your needs. Stew has extensive experience and Tario is the master fitter and you should consult those two. +TourSpecGolfer
Very familiar with the Kai'li shaft and the i'lima. As far as a semi affordable shaft goes the i'lima in a deep faced fairway wood excels but also check out the Tour AD DJ series. The Kai'li is an excellent shaft in drivers and FW's as well. The TSG testers and I have been hitting all the Akira gear with Kai'li and we all agree it's top notch. All that said, finding a Crazy that fit's you is bliss. Shockingly better but you are paying top dollar for it. Quadra FE shafts IMO provide amazing results but as far as blowing the roof off of previous distances or being in new places on the course I must go with Crazy. I say go Crazy if you can afford it, Quadra next, and Diamana then Tour AD.

Once you have the right Crazy, it is well worth the $$$.
