the crazy 80 ls 2 7.7 287 cpm

is the heavyweight champ of the universe

i was stunned today

incredible feel, lowest launch , no spin,

doesnt matter how hard u swing this eats it up.

in a jbeam tour 425 head. at 324 x d3 45inch

gaming it this week for match results

but ill be suprrised if this doesnt get the nod back on the links in oz full time.

feel is unbelievable , i havnt hit anything that feels like it it just goes straight. and runs for miles.

its great.

but i gotta match it to make 100% sure.

That stiff it better go dead straight. The worms on your

Course should relocate.

Seriously though your happy with this shaft? Top of the tops

In your bag of quivers?

Was trying the Crazy 80 LS 6.9 flex. i think its a little to stiff for me. but man the shaft is really hard to explain. really explosive pingy like what stew says. Should i try the 6.4 flex? hmmmmm

I'm a newbie to crazy having bad experiences with shafts that were too

Stiff for my own good. What do you reckon is closest in flex, weight to the

Proto 75s and the gd9003? The 9003 is a low spin cannon in my 380 head

Yes its good but the p 9003 x is in the formula one division

closest to yr flex in crazy come down a notch

the 80 ls 1 will be supoer maybe - 6.4

the jbeam 10'

with the crazy 80 ls2shaft at 43.5inch

i put some lead tape on the back to add a bit mre weight.

9holes with it none of which got above knee high

those worms were more scared than me on march11

however

6/7 in the middle of the fairway raised an eyebrow.

No kidding the ball didnt getairborn but distance wasgood

not great but it wasnt what this was anyway

straightness accuracy control

ticked all theseboxes.

the shaft is quite one off, its so stiff but with an aluminium feel. If uve ever ridden pushies and u go from reynolds 853 to alloy frames thats what this feltlike, theres no movement in this whatso ever its by far and away the most taught shaft ive played that doesnt feel like a railway sleeper

a-la mamiya v2.

The ball tings off the driver face simly rockets away

this is going to live in oz and will be played in cyclones hurricanes and typhoons and will extinguish them.

No point playing it inthe wet theresno carry

on fast slick surfaces this willbe sensational

the 43.5 length was great as well

been dying to play a driver at that lengthfor ages but too scared to cut a shaft downthis havingbeen done already was aperfect experiment

it looks feels good at address ,over the ball on tight holes i had a lot of confidence to hit a drive to apoint

id say overall distance was275 average with40plus carry in that, this is what i wanted the yonex to be

this is the second drivercoming to hawaii

rate this set up 9/10

only looses apoint bec no versatility

this shaft is only for point shoot nothing else

if u play links/ wind then this shaft is unbeatable

certainly not an everyday stick

yea, or a more lofted head.

the 425 tour combo is right at the cusp of too hard its says 10* but i think it played to 8.5

i payed this driver more than any other in hawaii bec its so low, short and controllable, i guess i lost a max. of 15 yards on most shots over the ryoma. which didnt matter in the slighttest ove there.

maybe this and the 10* yamaha tour would be good.

or a 10.5* ryoma

this needs to be in a mac dayy head. no doubt or its totally wasted.

pick up the ryoma / p9003x tom, see how that goes.

boy its gonna be hard to get that 425 out of the bag now tho,

just got so used to it.
