JMCMB
I'm getting quite curious about the Shimada shafts, I would love to know anyone's opinions on them, more specifically how they play vs. Pro Modus3's and KBS tours, thinking of reshafting a set of blades I haven't been playing with them, and I would really like to get more info first. I would also like to know the differences between the Pro Modus3's and the NS Protos, I have the yururi flat backs coming with the Modus3's and I would really like to know how the Protos differ as I'm considering reshafting a set of baby blades and if I could get my hands on them I would be interested in the protos. Thank you. J

JMCMB
Thank you, I've been playing the KBS tour black nickels for a while, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the KBS, but I'm not in love with them, they get the job done, but I'm really looking for shafts that I like better, that suit me better, and give me a tighter dispersion, that's my one gripe about the KBS shafts, distance control is semi poor. I Actually just received my yururi flat backs with the Pro Modus3's and they look sicccckk, gonna play them at bethpage black in a little while, if I love the way they play as much as I love the way they look, I'll stick with them in the irons my father is going to order me from TSG later on, if not I'm either going to go with the SP blues, or the Shimadas if I get a lot of good feedback on the Shimadas. And I'm def going to keep my eyes out for the NS Protos, as they seem to be the Holy Grail lol. J
supo
the shimadas i find extrememly good, they dont have anything that stands out, they just deliver a great shot great trajectory , perfect distance every time oh and the y LOOK mustard white writing down the solid pipes. in my miuraisms they are 100% perfect. i can get small movement with them and count on the ball flying true ireally rate them highly the ns sp blue much lower and stiffer they are my 2 favs.

Thank you. J I've played Shimada and KBS Tours. KBS tours famous for their firm feel. and normally plays on heavier shaft, the lightest product will be v90 which still 90+grams.. Shimada on the other hand feels softer and very famous for a light, soft steel shafts. their famous product will be K7001. For me Shimada even softer compare to nspro. so it will be up to you whichway to go, firmer feel or softer feel.
