There are plenty of posts describing the various CRAZY and Jbeam heads, mostly 435, 435II, 460, 425 tour..

But how about the 445-HG from Jbeam? Did anybody try it or does anybody own it? It seems like a low launch kind of head and looks nice with that black finish.

Also, what is High Grade (the HG in the name) about it compared to the other Jbeam heads? I more or less stumbled across it after checking out the thread about the Jbeam FW heads.

can you post a pic? dint even know they had this.

too many tempting drivers nowadays

Its actually available in the pro shop here! With some very good looking "in hand" photos as well, just search under Shop By Brand and you will find Jbeam heads, including this one.

It's funny, as soon as I opened this thread I thought that same exact thing, that you never really hear all that much about this head, tons of dialogue about the 425 tour, and the Crazy branded/designed jBEAM heads, but very little about the 445, strange as just looking at it I would think this would be the most popular jBEAM head considering it's larger size than the 425 and slightly lower cost than the Crazys.... When I have looked at it in the past though I have always thought this head would perform similar to the Crazy 435/435II, I might be way off base, but that's just the initial impression I get from it....

The head is one of the newer JBeam heads which is why it hasn't gotten around quite as much... the fairway woods are superb though.... hmmmm I should have recommended the FW to you J.

I've hit it so has Tatsuro. Love the feel very explosive and it's got an interesting rounded heel. Very long and forgiving. It's a little circular for my taste in shape.

also noticed they released the Jbeam version of the 435 CRZ II. If my crazy doesn't come in soon I will be picking up one of those.

Jbeam rocks. I think it could be my 2nd fav brand for drivers only behind Ryoma.
