suheric
Never played Egg Spoon. But I have similar swing speed and I had many PRGR clubs, so I might be able to help. I always played M-43 and very happy with result. I never thought about going for other shafts. M-43 is just perfect for me.

theblake
I am right in the middle of a REG - STIFF shaft flex in most of my clubs. nobody is 'right in the middle' :-) a 95mph may well have an optimum flex at say 5.5 (if 5.0 is Reg and 6.0 is stiff) but do you want to hit it lower or higher, straighter or more distance, do you have a fast or slow tempo, do you load the shaft. using my imaginary scale, you could easily use shafts in the range 4.5 to 6.5 depending on what you want and how you hit it., and provided that the lengths and weights/MOI are done properly. I beleive the clubmakers call this dynamic fitting. I have a 95mph swing speed too and I played Rifle 6.5's for 10 years and they were fine, and I guess in the old scale that was about X flex. But as the clubmaker consulted me, I wanted lower and straighter. so thats what I got. And now my driver shaft has its stiffness measured at 330cpm - do the math on that one! irishputter
M-43 seems to be the way to go. Thanks for the input! If anyone is selling, please email me, as my wife has my Christmas list and the Egg Spoon 17* is listed as #1 on the list :)
