EdGolf
After about a month with this new clubs, I must say the irons are really sweet and cut through rough like blade. I tested them against my Mizuno MP68, and prior to having Yururi, my Mizuno feels like hot knife to butter but now after using my Yururi for a month and I hit back my MP68, it feels so harsh, it's scary.... Yururi head size is slightly smaller with a thinner top line, if compare to my MP68 and the sole is also a lot thinner. However, I'm not liking my Modus 3 much at this moment. The shaft feels smooth and gives good feels but I think I order too soft a flex (mine is stiff but I think it player a lot softer to flex compare to DG) and I find it hard to control my shots. Most of my shots are left of target, unless I slow down my swing. Thinking of hard stepping them or get a C-Taper to try em on to see how this head will handle it? Any thoughts or suggestions guys? Maintenance wise it's pretty easy as that was one of my major worries.... Basically I've done nothing special, apart from wiping em down after a game (which I do for all my other clubs anyway) No sign of rusts so far but I guess it's time I find me some sword oil or WD40 with the winter coming down hard here.... (anyone wanna send me a tube of sword oil from Japan?)

IshikawaFAN
KBS c TAPER! (just pulling your chain supo) Supo67 is passionate about those SP blues! You're really making me want to find a set to see what the fuss is all about but it's as easy to find as the satin Project X... Have you hit the satin PX or kbs C taper, supo? supo
the proj x 6.0 flighted satin stiff , i had in my miura 1957s, a while back they felt nice but they were like a stick of sticky spagetti, so flexible, impossible to control the ball well. i was missing the greens with monotonous regularity. all over the palce, not a good shaft with tiny blades thast for sure. they certianyl wre pleasing in the hands tho but the results i got were horrible. i used a set of shimadas in a set miuraisms and they were just magnificent so much better results than with the PX ive got a set of monnaccos in the sb-01s now and im not convinced, the shimadas suited my play better, the monnaccos are stiffer and tighter un doubtably but those shiamdas are just so nice. tossing up what to do with those sb-01s now.. cost me a fortune here to reshaft clubs, heavy pondering going on at the moment. as for the c tapers. well i have the KBS tourX in my set of sakammotos in oz and they actually suit perfectly. i hated the KBS in other irons but in those sakkys, they go great. so i leave em as is. the distance gains with those irons is crazy. its at least ............ a full club longer , so 5-pw is not worries at all. just need to game an extra wedge. i need to test a KBS c- taper before i put em in anything. i have beautiful epon 302 that i try all my shafts with first, ill pull the shimada out of that and try the KBS. I think the problem with Modus is it play too soft to flex for me but the pull could also be cause by my standard shaft length I'm use to playing is now 0.25" shorter to get the SW down. So either adjust lie angle of each clubs, longer shafts with higher SW or stiffer shaft. Not sure what's the issue now but for sure I just can't control it, unless I slow down my swing. Love the ball flight and feel so not sure if I wanna go lower with SP Blue but for sure something to think about.

I've also the same results in Project X in my MP68 too. Shimadas is one shaft I'm interested to try but not much info I could gather from real life usage here....not to mention no where to try em out ! Thinking of using them for my wedges... what flex do they play like?? Are the softer to flex like Modus?? TT Monacco I hear good things but again cannot get my hands on those :( From my understanding C-Taper plays very differently from KBS Tours. Lower launch but not as smooth feeling like KBS Tour.. I'm planning on shafting them C-Tapers on Epon 502 heads and see how I like the feel of it, and if it goes well, might just reshaft my Yururi #7 iron to try out before reshafting the whole lot. supo
on blades ie.., the miuraism sb-02 one of the smallest blades there are bar NONE. these are just perfect. i tried about 6 shafts before i settled on the shimadas, that included the modus3 , the shimada were much more suited no idea about the numbers with them . i just loved the performance i got . lower without being low, not stiff, not soft. juuuuuuuuuuuust right

Another iron shaft to look out for... which series are you using? K's 3001 or K's 7001 or K's Tour? What about wedges? You use their K's NW110 or K's NW120? What's the difference in each do you know?? Or maybe Geochin can chip in with some info?
