January 25, 201213 yr I thought they did make a number of them and basically all pre-sold even before being put on market.
January 25, 201213 yr Author well they did that, and I paid for one, but the club has been delayed. Is it really going to happen?
January 25, 201213 yr I'm in the same boat as you guy's waiting for my Ryoma Special Tune. It's not been released yet and I apologize for the delay. In a couple of weeks we are meeting with Ryoma in Tokyo. Hopefully their plan was to release it at or around the time of the Japan Golf Fair. Yes the club is happening!
January 25, 201213 yr Author who knows, all I care about is that they are still making it. I was worried they would scrap it, as far as release well currently it's snowing in Indiana so I will just have to be patient for the next couple weeks.
January 26, 201213 yr No problems, from what I hear is only their top accounts were offered it and asked to pre book. Everyone's prebook was insanely huge which Ryoma was not expecting. Something about Hi-Cor these days.
January 27, 201213 yr yeah, thx. but when will come the Japanese Golf Fair? sadly, i am going hawaii today...
January 31, 201213 yr Doubtful there are any available for the proshop as all are sold out in the pre-order stage from my understanding....
February 20, 201212 yr Ryoma was not at the fair nor are they ever at the fair, they are a very small company who rely on their performance to create word of mouth. We are still keeping our fingers crossed as there are certainly a lot of people waiting (myself included). Meaning I have not been able to test it yet as well. To Ryoma's credit (if they deserve any at all), they did not want any shortcuts or the product less than perfect, even if it meant a 4-5 month delay which it has almost been. I am actually impressed with the patience of all the customers who have ordered!
February 22, 201212 yr Its not leading to frustration Ed, it already is and has been very frustrating!! (^_^)
March 7, 201212 yr T, Any further updates from them?? This is getting way out of hand !! They can't keep silence for so looooong
March 7, 201212 yr T, Any further updates from them?? This is getting way out of hand !! They can't keep silence for so looooong I switched my order for the special tuning driver and went with a custom built Crazy 435II driver instead, I was mulling between that and the CRZ-450 head as I really miss that one. I suggest anyone who can't wait any longer do the same. I also picked up the weight kit and wrench for my Crazy Head. A handfull of things frustrated me: 1. They increased the retail price by around 300 bucks! ( dont worry TSG will foot the bill on those pre orders ) 2. If the face cracks they replace it with a conforming model...argh! or you pay like 400 bucks for another special tuning. ( I already have the conforming model! ) 3. The warranty is only good for 1 year and by the original purchaser of the club. 4. The delay was insane ( 3+ months!! ) Now they are saying mid April? %$*#&@! So those who switch like me free up a head for those who were on the waiting list. Maybe I will regret switching my order later but there are so many other drivers on the market I can get along great with like: - Crazy Driver - Kamui Custom - Titleist VG3 - TourStage 707 - ONOFF Type S or Type D-Long The weather is perfect here in Vegas, I'm not waiting a second longer.
