gocchin
Ryoma claims 20-30 yards... hontoni. So far some customers have reported 10-25y gains, depending on the customer and shaft. Good news is these are all slower swingers under 100mph so if they are indeed gaining that distance it is quite subarashii!
shintajay
Surprise in the mail on Monday. The box from Tourspec arrives with my special tuned Ryoma. I got a 10.5 with the crazy RD R/S at 46". I took off to the range with my old driver (TM 460 with a prolaunch blue R 45".) I don't know my swing speed but I hit my current driver about 220 total. 200 carry with 10-20 roll. Launch is quite high. I think Im in the high 80 swing speed. At least my Egg M40 works well for me. Anyway, my first outing with the Ryoma, I finished unclear it I could hit it better. My ball flight was suprisingly lower, run was more and total distance was the same as my TM. Took it home and modified the swing weight to D4 (was at D2). Went back to the range the next day. Don' tknow if my set up was wrong before but now I could feel the head and the launch was a little bit higher. I was able to hit a consistant 230-40 total with a slight draw. Carry about 210+ with roll 20 plus. So I gained 20 yards from my old driver. For me that means hitting a mid iron to short irons into Par 4s, which is where I have the most problems because I'm not long. Can't wait to try her on the course. Thanks gocchin for your suggestions and helping me get the right set up for my swing. Edited May 23, 2012 by shintajay

gocchin
Same here Jay, with a soft distance ball, the rebound off the face is superb.
