mygreenaliem
By pure chance I got to try a new 9.5 degree rocketballz driver head and fitted it with my 80 ls noir 7.4 shaft and my goodness did it turn out well. The most consistent, long and brilliant ball flight I have ever experienced with a driver. I have been on quite a long search for a driver like this and it seems I have finally found it and so glad one of the many crazy shafts I have recently bought has found a home! I am very happy. mygreenaliem
What had you played this shaft in before? Crazy 435II but did not get on, then tried in R11, was better but with this head it just clicked for me.

gocchin
Great news C! As I always say, a great shaft can make any head really come alive. The RocketBallz is designed to be a distance driver so should pair very well with the 80LS.
Chanaa
vs the ryoma - distance / forgiveness, anyone ?
JimThitipongSrivatanakul
I've paired Bnagvoo 787 X-flex with R11 and it goes very well together. High launch but with lots of spin so no roll at all. Huge carry so it will be a gamer in rainy season. Looking forward to reshaft it with RBZ. +TourSpecGolfer
Just an FYI, be careful of head only RBZ's floating around. The rejects or fakes were released 2 months before the real thing. They are also identical.

Petethepilot
Stew, it is the Winter/Spring release from TM. The Spring/Summer release will be out in a few months. It will probably be called "SpaceBalz"!!!!! How many times can a company come up with totally new, totally must-have technology................per year! This is why I tend to buy JDM. career4jerry88
That's why I stay away from TM, not only for possible fakes but for the forever changing or updates of models out there!!!! might just have to talk to T about a 3 wood choice, can't wait the Ryoma, Chris! Just an FYI, be careful of head only RBZ's floating around. The rejects or fakes were released 2 months before the real thing. They are also identical. career4jerry88
Totally agree with Pete on this one.. there is no non-JDM in my bag and it's gonna stay that way 'FOREVER'. JGalls
Really didn't want to like this line or anything by TM really, but the RBZ Tour line is REALLY good. The tour 3 wood is just insane. I was hitting it with an Ozick Black 7m3 at the demo day nearly as far as any driver there and much more consistent. Never did I think I'd find a better combo then my TEE CB3 Tour with Attas 8.

Quality is a no brainer but we should not act like all US gear is crap.
Shankopotamus
US domestic clubs, particularly club heads are pretty good in design, even in technology, but definitely suffer in precision, especially in quality control. I remember bringing my TM r7 10.5 head to my local club maker, and the head was actually 12*. And of course Japans forgings are the absolute best. I like Ping's wrx b/c they will actually pick out a head to your desired specs. Shafts on the other hand, jdm hands down!
