TESTING A YONEX NEXTAG NANOV 430 WITH GD ADDI

I picked this up online slightly used. First off this is a gorgeous head. I really like the 430 size and the square set up at address. it came with a Graphite design addi 6x at 45 inches. Feels really good so far. I was afraid the x flex would feel really stiff but it does not. The GD shafts are really good for me. I only had a chance to hit it yesterday on the range quickly as we had a rain storm coming in. I felt rushed so i will not make a firm judgement. However the head has a nice, muted feel to it. The face looks great as well. I feel that the Yonex line is very under rated on this site. I have a Yonex 380 that is the best feeling head that I have hit. I still may hang on to it and try a different shaft. Just great looking and feeling clubs. I go back to the range today to give them both more hits. I love the look of both drivers so I really hope I can find a gamer here. I may hang on to the 380 for windy or dry condition days. The only reason i listed it for sale was due to a low launch angle that does not help in the winter time when it is wet and cold. For those who may care about Yonex I will update as i go. Oh I firmly admit that I have been a driver merry go round that I desperately want to get off of.

the yonex nextage 430 imo is VASTLY superior to the 380 they released this season. i stil ahve my 430 i changed that uop thsi yr with the P9003x GD shaft at 43.5 inch and its absolutely super.

used it a ton over chrissy this yr back home, was my driver of choice actually.

the new model just looked and felt cheap to me, iwas gagging to get hold of it.

i was dissapointed with it .

the performace was ok ish , good,

i got some good shots off wit hit ,but it lacked something.

the 430 i revisited and i think is a much better head over all.

i love yonex, i think they make top things over all

I'm also on a driver merry go-round at this moment and and looking forward to your review since Tour AD 6 is amongst one of my fav shafts out there

I have the AD di 6 in another driver and I have an addi 7s in my R11 3 wood. They are great shafts. I dont know if I will keep all 3 but they are a good product. there is a reason that you see them frequently on tour in a driver. I have tried almost everything except Crazy shafts and I still go back to the ad di.

Really so far I like the feel of the 380 better but I love the square look of the 430. I will reshaft a few times before letting it go. I wish I could handle the P9003x but I just dont have the SS to pull it off.

The Nextage 430 is high, medium or low launch and spin? ie it launches and spins more or less than the Epon AF 102, I use the 102 with 9,5º, then which Nextage will I need the 9º or the 10º?. Thanks

I gamed the Nextag 430 for 27 holes yesterday. I did not play well due to a nagging should/neck issue that will need a chiro visit to fix.I shot 5 over which is not terrible for me but I knew my ball striking was off. It was one of those days where nothing was pure. Even with this issue I was surprised with the ball flight of this combo. The addi is a 6X flex. I was able to turn it over fairly easy. This surprised me because my Yonex 380 with the tour spec motore speeder seems harder to turn over. Man when I do it goes. The only time that i lost it right was when my hips got to quick. No driver will fix that. The head looks great on the ground at address. I love the square look. The feel is very good and the sound is solid but not too loud. When I put a pure swing on the club it goes. The temp was 55* and wet so the rollout was minimal. I had a few drives in the 280 to 290 area but several others were in the 250 to 260 range as well. The ball flight for me was a medium flight. This combo for me is definitely not a high launch combo. This is a well made club head. I am still considering a few other drivers so I do not know if this one will stay. It gave me no reason to sell, thats for certain. I guess I am still curious about a few other heads but I can't seem to get any feedback on them. You may see it pop up in the BST section but I really like many things about this head.
