RIduffer
Trying to a head size comparison and softness ranking of the Epon AF Tour, TourStage 905MB and the Miura baby blade...
supo
can help o nthe af tours and baby blades. aint hit th e NEW 905s yet epon af tours ., mid size head . thick all round. compact over all. very easy looking , easy playing head crazy soft feeling . plays MUCH better with a rigid shaft like NS Sp blue or dare i admit it.. GULP..... dg . miura baby blades { presume thats the US 1957 model (?) } they are VERY small heads. rounded corners very compact , thick for thier size pack lovely punch more so than the af tours tends to lead to a soft feeling form centre shots (unfortunatly miss hits tend to tell u other wise!) +TourSpecGolfer
Miura Baby Blades = Tiny head, least forgiving, Pure on center struck shots and harsh on anything mis**t TourStage 905MB Limited = Made by Endo, Pro demand firm forged feel, most advanced design of the 3 Epon AF-Tour = Most forgiving, best feel, thicker all around that gives the illusion that its shorter heel to toe, custom options galore My take is the Miura MB5003 is a better blade than the baby's. Also there are several more blades to consider: - New Roma Ro blade coming April - New Kenmochi Blade coming April - Yururi 2010 model blade ( no that doesn't signify the year its the model # )

Is the Kenmochi different than the model that just hit the store? Edited March 6, 2012 by RIduffer
+TourSpecGolfer
Kenmochi is the one that just hit the store. Traditional blade but they went softer with S20C this time. Looks outstanding. Roma-Ro yup pics coming soon in the write up. I think the AF-TOUR will still be tops in being forgiving while feel is yet to be determined. Also keep in mind Geotech has a few new blades some of the equivalent to S15C.
supo
right now i can comment o nthe tourstage 905s they have a very very small thin head, the muscle is angulated and chunky right i nthe centre in a falling wedge shape so offcentre shots get punished. centre shots , well that another story! these come with 950 s weight flowed shafts, and i doubt the need to change these over i nthe longer irons, the scoring irons cud do with a much taughter shaft . the new shape isnt as square as the x blade and the 901s slightly more rounde, ever so slightly but wnough to make them more appealing nad not a boxy, the differnce is slight but def, noticeable. very straight neck, NO offset. the irons are very hard to hit, most def not for anyone except the best iron players the thinness is the thing thatgets bad shots in trouble. the loss of distance and direction is big. they are very soft, very dynamic irons the better players should like these alot they are the nicest of the tourstage blades released so far. with the exception of the us blade, but that had just a small amount of face progression and they are much more rounded and chunky. the TS 905 are the best looking shape of all my irons

RIduffer
Gaming the 905 MB now with the Crazy CB I Evolution X flex and have gamed the MIura Baby Blade(before they became the 1957 model) for a couple of years prior to getting the TS. The TS are a great gamer just considering a try with something else. Want to keep with a smaller head and soft feel. Would agree with Chris that the TS play firm, but do not think they are any more difficult to make good contact with than the Miura. Also, Stew had it spot on that the 950s are a little loose of a shaft... Thinking the Kenmochi with a Roddio shaft might be the way to go... Is it a simialr head size to the TS? What are the Geotech's that are S15C?
