I had 2 sets of Epons both with wrong flex and wrong Type of shaft... On the bright side, I changed to Onoffs .. With modus3( should have takens Spoons advice earlier!!) and Iron Magic was restored !!

I'm a digger so prefer s300 or x100.

From what I read from the forum, many fast swinger felt that modus 3 launch high especially if u gave it a full swing. I'm a slow swinger and had mine install with the personal. I find it to be significantly lower launch than 950 nspro, typical for a tip stiff shaft. The feel, however, really stand out : )

Have the new VG3 gotten only 3 votes so far b/c noone's gotten them yet? I thought they had a good showing @ this year's fair.

Yes they are trickling out slooooow. Still waiting for mine. I hit them over 6 months ago I can barely remember what they were like. Many orders were custom so it's taking forever!!! Mine too!

My vote goes to the yamaha tour 2012. I was sold immediately when I hit them, soft feel on well struck shots and a bit forgiving I found that I have more success hitting the ball with a downward blow.

I have a set. Great irons. Love the trajectory, sound and feel off the clubface.

Non forum TSG customers in 2012 have been giving the best feedback to the Titleist VG3's & ONOFF Forged.

Not everyones cup of tea as they are not exactly compact but as far as happy goes they take the cake.

Another thing we noticed to is that people who got those two irons didn't switch to new irons as quickly and I think that says a lot.

Just curious as I am going to get my AF-702, which set of Epon did you have and what kind of shafts came with your set up? Appreciate any input from you, thanks!
