Posted June 16, 201212 yr New level is how T described them. Pretty much spot on Low-Mid screaming bullets that roll forever. I was hitting a baby fade/power fade with the RD, now with the 513 proto they are straight, wanting to draw. I can still fade it but the natural shot has become a straight rocket. Also very noticeable is the feel, much better as well. I'm in love all over again.
June 17, 201212 yr Got the Crazy 531B Proto (SR). Weight 51g. Counterbalanced. Don´t know the torque. Waiting for a new Ryoma ST head, so I can compare the 531B Proto to some other Crazy shafts (orig. LY01, LY Nero, CB46, FW80..).
June 17, 201212 yr hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm T for me???? You might be better off with the Proto 519 which is the new Crazy Black 50. anymore info on this spec wise and how this compares to the original RD? http://www.golftoimpress.com/crazy-prototype-shafts-report-and-availability/
June 18, 201212 yr Author I have never felt a shaft kick the way this shaft does. It feels like the ball stays on the face longer. Feels like a sling shot. Haven't played my usual track(s) yet so I can't compare distance but the ball is easier to control. Straighter
June 18, 201212 yr You might be better off with the Proto 519 which is the new Crazy Black 50. http://www.golftoimpress.com/crazy-prototype-shafts-report-and-availability/ Thanks! So the 513 is softer in the tip which should spin more but has a higher kick so lower launching than the original RD?
June 18, 201212 yr Thats right but its not specifically a softer tip but designed to have a more active tip and middle section.
July 24, 201212 yr just an aside on the shaft i-drive has,, i had a few hits with it at the range and i got it to go VERY high, was too soft for me , but i knoew that i just wanted to have a scratch-sniff test. distance was still very good but it spun too much for my head speed . the feel of it was sensational. a bit more alive than the crazys i use. reminded me of the roddio shingo spec 2010, that kinda style and its light! in my flex , if that exists,, this would be awsome...! really liked the idea of this shaft.. jeff "middle of fairway i-drive ryoma san. kils this set up btw. dont play him for coin.. ull loose...!

Good for an extra 20 yards . Edited July 24, 201212 yr by idrive
July 24, 201212 yr hah. cpl came out ok. ithink the best driving wa done with the yamaha tour cb50 on the sat at narusawa tho. thats was real consistant bigguns. damn thats a good piece
July 24, 201212 yr do they have this in 68-69 grams S flex? The Proto 519 is available in 65 and 75g weights.
July 31, 201212 yr The jury is still out for me with the 531 in SX flex. It looks great and has a good feel to it but until i get a Tour issue RBZ head in it the jury is still out. I plan to have it go head to head with a Fuji K and a Miyazaki Black before making a final decision.
