FINALLY got the labo spec shafte with dgs200 but so wa the vokey so good face off test!

the onoff is heavy with a humongous sole and RAZOR thin base. this thing slices under balls like nothing else.

the ball just pops straight up and spins likebalzes. its awsome, but it heavy.

the vokey feels nice. the grind is great its really versatile its magic out of the sand, and its great out of thin lies.

spin was very good , i decided to game the vokey today. bec it was thin. good choice.

both of these are ver ygood wedges, i prefer the look of the onoff, but it will be hard to gte the vokey ot of the bag.....

so i went in agn and got the 62 this arvo. just in case...>!!

Couldn't resist the 62. We were just talking about that yesterday, I'm in the hunt for a lob wedge.

What would you recommend between the two? Onoff or V? I use the lob around the green a lot.

I play my lob wedge at 61* lie. The OnOff is so hard (cast metal) my club bender thought it was going to break when

he tried to get it to 61*. Didn't make it. For that reason I'm not hitting it out of the sand as well as I'd like.

The versatility of the OnOff is excellent. I can close the face down and chip, to opening it up and flop it straight

up. Excellent spin without ruining the ball every time.

Big fan of the Vokey too. Can't go wrong with them.

If you're really hard on wedges the OnOff is going to wear much better

the differnce in feel is pretty pronounced. i didnt realise the on off was cast till i saw the colour oit and the feel of it .

differcen is big. i love soft feel hate the hard tinygy irons.

but ill make an exception for this onoff.

on second that after comparing the two in the proshop, i like the looks of the vokey 10x.

i just got a mizuno quad cut groove 50* wedge to play around with. the small compact size

looks similar to the vokey.

the vokey forged 62 is top notch. Stops on a dime - literally every from every lie i hit, i get 1 bounce & stops on the next, within a feet. The grind on the face says its all. Its a beauty of a club & performs as well. The only wedge that checks as much are the yuyuri raws - but those are ball chewers.

I'd get the vokeys in a heart beat if they were available dark. I lay LW facing the sky in bunkers and it's blinding in the Perth sun. There's nowhere in the world that has light like we have.

Even in satin foggy satin finish?

well i got both as im in dire need of a new lob. been itching to t get the labospec as i played the ping (zing?) in oz and it felt crap but it went wll. so ifigureed the local made one would be bette. almost the same shape..

and i just had t otry the vokey forged.

he cant make that many top pros wedges and not know something about wedge making.

i also listed to his ideas on wedges on tv recently and liked what he said.

so

yea he makes good wedges that i can play no doubt.

will game the 51-56 this weeknd wit the onoff labo spec 59*

Ive been playing the OnOff forged wedges for a month or so now and am very impressed with them.....I normally dont rotate my wedges much and absolutely loved my Adams Puglielli, but the bite from the on off is tremendous and the sole grind seems to be perfect for my swing !

just the stock dgs200, im going to swap them out for the NS protos tonight tho. similar to the NS WV. love those shafts they get the bal l spinning all right. i always put a NS 950 s i nthe lob wedge tho. i like the really light flopy feel in a lob wedge, a heavier shaft= no touch in my hands

took the shag bag to the practice green this morning for a major wedge shoot out. 58-60* wedges.

9 different ones in all.

I plan on writing up my conclusions.... but the bottom line is the labo really performs.

9 wedge shootout?! I'm tired just hearing that!

My fitter who I trust more than most on this earth is w big believer in Scratch Tour wedges and the whole fitting process that goes along with it. Any chance you'll be including Scratch?

Also, Labo only available in 59*. What's up with that?

Scratch is one brand I don't include in anything.

If they were the best it wouldn't matter to me. When you have beyond a bad experience

with someone or something it sours you and it no longer matters what the product is or

does....
