Our custom Mizuno program is in full swing now and we started taking orders last month.

Customer orders are beginning to roll in now and I will blog about each order but also post a pic or two of each club and its specs here as well as some of my impressions.

Forum member jimmieboi's MP-69 are up first. First time seeing the Twilight finish in person. It's like a dark chrome finish that looks different from every angle.

I am usually not a fan of mirror chrome but this Twilight is quite classy, Especially since jimmieboi asked for no paintfill except his name (sky blue name to match sky blue iomics).

Next up are Craig's MP69 with W sole grind and the beautiful double nickel satin. This is how satin should be done.

Mizuno blue paintfill, white for CRAIG. are all a nice touch.

Up next are Doug's MP-69 and MP R12 Wedges. Doug is one of the first to go for the black with gloss finish. He went with less offset in the irons and had a 60 and 54* wedge changed to 59 and 53* and Mizuno even restamped the lofts for him. Will add the blog link in a bit.

Up next are Ed's MP-69 done in a very classy Double Nickel Bright. No grain flow forged and no paintfill in any of the logos except for the stamping MINT done in gold paintfill.

We got our first set of custom MP-64 in thanks to Peter. Another great double nickel satin finish with less offset and a rounder sole to prevent digging. Matching MP R12 Wedges too. Both shafted with Mamiya ATTAS 7 irons shafts! More on the blog soon!

So far only a few custom Mizuno orders have come in or are about to come it.

They are not exactly cheap so it has taken some time for people to bite the bullet.

So far I've been quite impressed with the quality of the work, at least the finish and workmanship.

Played 9 holes after work and I truly think my days of experimentation are over. (At least with irons.)

these sit perfectly and play as soft and nice a feeling as anything I have ever hit.

I think the Modus 3 shafts are also a perfect match.

Can't see myself hitting anything else for a long while.
